"You're drunk."
"But so are you," Jade giggled. "We should get out of here."
"Okay, lemme get Jes'n'Leigh," Perrie mumbled and put her glass down. It was only filled with coke but she had drunk too much this night already so it was probably for the best (although the sugar in her drink certainly did not help decrease the alcohol level in her system).
"No, just the two of us," Jade whined as she tugged on Perrie's arm. "I wanna do something, just the two of us."
Blinking with big eyes Perrie looked at her in surprise but then let the older female drag her out of the dark club and out onto the cool night of Vegas. Since the city was in the desert it was hot as balls during the day but now, at almost two in the morning, they were freezing in their party outfits in the night. "Wat'cha wanna do?" Perrie asked as she walked next to Jade, their hands entwined. It was weird how empty the streets were considering they were in a lively part of the city but then again Perrie wouldn't complain. They got only a few amount of quiet nights as it was.
Jade then stopped and looked at Perrie with big, excited eyes and clapped her hands together. "Let's get married!"
"What?" Perrie asked and frowned, feeling a little hurt. "This isn't funny, Jade."
"No, seriously," Jade told her. "Forget Zayn. Marry me."
The blonde's frown deepened suspiciously. "Jade, I only just got broken up with."
The older female shrugged and grabbed Perrie's hands to entwine their fingers as they stood across from each other on the sidewalk, a street lamp right above them. "So what? You've known me for all those years. I've been in love with you all those years."
"What?" Perrie asked breathlessly and felt the colour drain from her face.
Jade giggle and her cheeks turned a shade darker. "I only just realised. I mean, I love Leigh and Jesy just as much but I love you, like, differently. In a good different. You make me feel happy'n'secure. I never felt as comfy around Sam as I do around you."
"Jade, what the hell?" Perrie asked and felt a lot more sober already. "Why didn't you tell me?"
The brunette giggled, "I told you. I only just realised."
Frowning the blonde ripped her hands from Jade's grip and put them in front of her chest, a shiver running down her spine in this very moment due to the chilly air. "Are you serious?"
"Yes," Jade told her and the seriousness in her eyes, no matter how drunk she was, knocked the breath out of Perrie's lungs momentarily. If she was honest she could tell that there was also adoration and love in Jade's brown eyes. "Let's get married. I love you, I always have. I was just too-" a hiccup "-scared to admit it to myself."
Perrie's face then split into a grin. "I'll believe you if you manage to find a pair of rings, wedding dresses and a priest to marry us tonight."
"Challenge accepted," Jade told her with a broad grin and leaned in to press her lips against Perrie's.
The blonde was shocked for a second but then realised that she probably should have seen it coming and felt herself melting into Jade's touch, enjoying the pressure against her lips. "Weird," she mumbled against Jade's lips as her eyes felt shut, "I didn't think I'd enjoy this as much as I do."
The older female giggled and pulled back, entwining her left hand with Perrie's right and pulling her down the streets. "Come on, we've got a lot of planning to do! At which church will we get married?" She looked around until she noticed a single man across the empty streets and ran across the drive way, tugging Perrie along. "'scuse me," she told the man in her giggly voice and she seemed so happy and excited that the blonde couldn't help but smile fondly, "where can my friend and I get married at this time?"
