Death and Life

Life is treasured,
Life is lost,
Death is hated,
But at what cost?

Life has Death,
To conquer and demand,
Life is the ruler,
Of death's hand.

Death is submissive,
Listening to Life's every command,
But Death will always be hated,
For taking Life's hand.

You see,
It's as simple as this,
Life commands Death,
And Death doesn't miss.

Death needs Life,
But Life doesn't need Death,
And that's the way it has been,
Not a simple theft.

So appreciate everything,
Where Death or Life now,
Because you are in control of both,
To you, they bow.
