In the year 762 a woman received her second child, an adorable baby girl. Her eldest, a son, peered over the edge of the crib at the little dark haired baby. He looked to his mother who was gazing fondly at the newborn. As the years flew by the family agreed to take their daughter to the Dragon Country to the north of their small village. The family of wizards arrived at the mountains around noon. They scoured the land for a dragon willing to teach their daughter. After night fell, an unsuccessful day of searching for a dragon, a large black dragon with blue accents flew into the area and landed near the weary humans.
¨Who of you wishes to learn the art of the dragons?¨ The huge dragon boomed, Conner, their father, stepped foreword.
¨Our daughter, wants to become a dragon slayer"he said, placing the little girl on the hard ground. The dragon bent his neck and examined the small child. He rose again after a minute,
¨I am willing to teach your daughter, but this magic requires undivided attention and dedication. I know humans are attached to their young but I must ask you to nullify your contact with her.¨ Conner and his wife, Katie, looked at each other in uncertainty.
¨Its what she wants¨ Katie said and they agreed to the dragon's terms. Conner and Katie led their son away, leaving their daughter behind. This is the story of that little girl, Keira, and how she changed the wizarding world; forever.
