Chapter 2: New Girl

Alex's POV

I opened my eyes and heard a girl and a man whisper yelling at each other, I'm guessing to not wake me up.

???- Why would you do something like that! You don't even know if she was a threat!
Garroth- It kind of looked like she was spying on us! Plus she looks like an assassin! She is also an amazing fighter!
???- shhhhh! I think she's waking up!

I shot up confused of where I am. I looked around and tried to get up on my feet, but my hand was tied to the bed. I touched my back thinking that my swords were there.
"Looking for these?" Said Garroth while wavering the to katanas in my face, almost mocking me. I give him a death glare. I looks over and next to him was a girl as tall as me but a little shorter. She had black hair and a purple tank top. She had the same skin color as me.

"Where am I! Who are you people! Why am I here! LET ME GO!" I yelled.

" Calm down. Zenix just knocked you out. We didn't trust you so we brought you here, and tied you up." Garroth said while reaching for my mask, wanting to reveal my identity.

He touched my mask and I then kicked him away. I noticed Zenix was in the corner of the room, taking his sword out.

" Zenix put that away!" The lady demanded. She looked important. " I'm sorry for my guards. There very protective."

Wait, her guards? Then she must be very important.

" We just want to ask you a couple of questions and then you will be on your way. So wha..." " When I pinned you to that tree, you said that you were running. What we're running from?" Garroth interrupted. " Why should I tell you!" I mumbled loud enough for him to hear. "Because if you trust me, we can get through this the easy way." Yeah right.
" I was running from Okas'is guards." " Why would you be running from Okas'is guards!" " I got scared when my brother went mad he made me wanted in the village. " I lied. " So what's your name?" Asked the lady. " Alex. Yours?" "Aphmau" " Nice to meet you. Umm. Do you mined if I stay here a little bit? When you untie me?" I asked " No. We do..." " ofcourse! we are sorry! You can stay at the village in." Aphmau interrupted Garroth while she untied me and gave me back my weapons. I nodded to her. As I walked out the room Garroth grabbed my arm and whispered in my ear. " We'll finish this later." I nodded and made my way to the in.
