Chapter 15: Training part 2

Alex's POV

I woke up with a pain on my arm. I lifted up me sleeve and saw the cut that I had when came to Phoenix Drop had become black. I decided to put a cream on and put bandages on it, again. I went to Lucinda's house, leaving my weapons.

- Time passes to when they are at the plaza.

"Ok. So today your going to focus more on power because your going to be controlling wind. Your going to do the same thing as yesterday. Concentrate and think about swiftness." My hair got an ombré with silver at the ends. I thrusted my hand and the bottle went flying! I smirked. I knew what I had to do so I blew the bowl off. Then I met my match, the block of concrete. I had to use a lot of force to even shove it. I had to use all my might. "Aaaaaah!" I yelled and the block blew away to the other side of the plaza! And also my hair looked fabulous while doing it, and it also went back to normal. I saw a smirk on Lucinda's face. "Awsome! Your a pro. Now to test these on real people." She pointed to Dante. "Hey Dante!" I yelled. He came over. "Hey Alex!" "Do you like having wet feet?" I asked. "I guess. We would you ask such a wired qu-" he looked down and his foot was paralyzed with ice. "What are you doing?" He took out his sword and started hitting the ice, it didn't even crack. I motions my hand it the ice melted all over his foot. "Come on! These were new boots too!" I couldn't hold in my laughter and started to laugh while he walked away. Then Lucinda pointed at Garroth. He was talking to Aphmau next to the well. I took a big ball of water and dropped it on his head. Aphmau looked at me and started to die laughing! And so did I. Then she pointed at Laurence. This was perfect. I used some wind and shoved phim. He looked back I pretended to be talking to Lucinda. I kept doing this a couple times till he fell and took out his sword. I walked towards him laughing and helped him up. "It was you wasn't it?" "Yep!" I kissed his cheek and went back to Lucinda. "So I guess my work here is done!" She walked away.

Next was Zoey and she's going to teach me how to control weather. We met in the forest again. "First your going to control the weather itself. This is tricky because it always depends on what your feeling and it's hard to control. So as you see it's cloudy. Try and make it sunny!" Sunny? So all I have to do is think happy thoughts. I swung my arm in a rainbow motion. Then there wasn't a cloud in the sky. "Great! Now try to make a tiny raincloud, but not in the air. That will drive villagers crazy from the change. I thought about sad thoughts and concentrated hard. Then a tiny raincloud popped up! Then it just stated there until I didn't want it to be. "Amazing! Your power is extraordinary!" Zoey brought over a pig. "Zap the pig with lightning." "NO! I don't want to hurt the poor thing." "Don't worry. It won't kill the pig unless you want to." "Fine." I brought my hand up and shot it down. All I saw was a pile of meat. "ZOEY!" "I'm sorry! I had to make you do it someway!" "Ugh." I groaned. "I would teach you how to make it snow, but that would make the villagers freak out." We started laughing. We said our goodbyes and I started heading towards Kiki's barn.

"Hey Kiki!" "Oh hey Alex! It's time to start your class already! I guess you learn fast then! Ok so let's start with squirrel, since that's how you discovered your power. Tell me what he is saying." She holds up an adorable squirrel. "NUTS! NUTS! NUTS! Do you have food? I'm hungery!" I looked up at Kiki before the animal could say anything else. "He said that he's hungry. Very hungry!" "Aww poor thing! Don't worry, I'll feed you later. Anyways, let's try an Elephant. She points at her African Elephant. It-was-huge. "Hello there! What's your name? You look interesting." "Hi! My name is Alex and I'm Kiki's friend." "Awesome!" I looked at Kiki. She had a surprised face. "She just wanted to get to know me." "That's amazing! I don't even think you need my help with this! I guess I'll see you later. I need to go feed that squirrel." "Ok. Bye then!" I left the barn.

I went back to Lucinda's place to practice my telepathy powers. I knocked on her door when she opened it and pulled me in. "What am I thinking?" She immediately says. "Uhh. Your thinking if I could actually read your mind." "Ok your done here bye!" She pushes me out the door. I have no idea what that was about and I want to stay out of it, if there is something going on.

I decided that this would be a good time to practice my wind power. I lifted my self up and I flew to Aph's house. I knocked on her door and she opened it.  "Hey Alex! You ready?" She asked. "Yeah." She pulls me to her basement and I see injured animals on the floor. "What happened!" I yelled. "I found them in the forest. It's now your job to heal them!" "Yes ok." I took a deep breath. "Think about love or someone that one that you love." Said Aph.

Laurence.

My hair turned into a light blonde  color and I started floating. I lifted up my hands and a red aura appeared around the animals and there wounds were healed. I fell back on my feet but I tripped on my cape. "Are you ok? That was awesome!" Said Aphmau helping me up. "Yeah. It's starting to get dark I think I should leave and get get some rest." I said. "I agree. Remember to practice!" "I will. Good night lord Aphmau." I walked off to my house.

I sat in my bed and took off my bandages and saw that the cut was still there, and still black. I tried using my power to heal it, but it didn't work. "W-W-WHAT!" I put on new bandages and decided to go to sleep.
