Chapter 9: Like a Boss

Its been more than a week since the huge battle with Zane and he is being held at the Phoenix Drop prison in the guard tower. We also found a guard on our way back so we invited him here. I was guarding Zane's cell, that I covered with thorns, when I heard yelling coming from the top of the tower. I climbed up and saw Aphmau with a huge bag that looked pretty heavy. "Do you need help? What's with all the yelling?" I asked. "Oh sorry! That was me. I got new armor for you guys when I saw the fight last week and saw how unprofessional you guys looked." Answers Aphmau. "Hey! We still won didn't we?" Yelled Garroth. I giggled.

The new guards name was Dante. He had blue hair and looked pretty cute. What did I just say? Plus Dante's fighting style was unique was mine.

Aph handed out the boy's armor. "Wow! You look so beautiful!" Said Garroth. "Aw thank you Garroth!" Said Aphmau. He started to blush. "Oh, uh sorry I was speaking to the armor." He was trying to clear his tracks. It wasn't so easy. "Too bad. I vowed to myself that the next person who would call me beautiful, I would go out with immediately." Said Aph with a fake pouty face. I leaned over to Zenix. "Go get the popcorn!" I whispered. He started to laugh, trying so hard to keep it in. "Are you serious? Because I was just kidding about the while thing." Said Garroth. Everyone started to break into laughter.

When we stopped Aphmau gave Dante his last piece of armor. "Hey what about me!" I said. "Don't worry! Here." She hands me a new mask which was with golden swirly engravings. She also hands me new boots. The boots were leather with heals. Then she handed me a new hoodie that had the same style as my mask. But less design and had a pointed head, which makes me look like a total boss! She lastly hands me a leather belt. It was fitted to cross my back for my blades with a waist belt for bombs and ninja stars. It looked so awsome! They were also all black which made it look even cooler!(look at pic)

"Are you ok?" Asked Aph. I hugged her. "Thank you so much! No one has ever done something like this to me." "No problem! It's my job." She smiled and I nodded. I went to another room to try them on while the boys tried on there armor in other room. I walked out and all boys started staring. "Your staring now, but before you know it you lost your pants by a mysterious someone!" I said. We all had a good laugh.

It was time for my break and I decided to go to Cadenza's. I walked into her house and pulled down my hood. "Hey Alex! What do you need?" She asked. " I need my haired dyed. Just two streaks please. I need a red streak on my right parted side with a blue one next to it. I can pay 3 diamonds." "Oh don't worry about paying! I got it covered. " She sat me down and started on my hair.

When she finished I said my goodbyes and thank yous. She did amazing. I put my hood back up and went back to guarding Zane.
