"It's so confusing sometimes to be a girl! Well, I don't know I'm just girl!"
Priscilla screamed the lyrics, swaying back and forth as she danced with the girls.
They all interlinked fingers as they danced together, the humidity of the hot spring air brushed their skin. The party that they were attending this time had been held completely outdoors.
Of course, California has decided to be in it's most brutal weather tonight. Priscilla's brunette hair was unruly, her curls forming at the roots of her freshly straightened hair.
She didn't care, running her fingers through the sweated out mass.
As she twirled around, her phone vibrating continuously triggered her.
She reached into the waist band of her leggings, her device being held up by the tightness of the spandex and her thong.
You look beautiful.
She sighed, pushing her bangs out of her face.
Locking her phone, she tapped Maddy on her arm. Gesturing for the wine cooker in her hand, Priscilla craved another sip.
Maddy generously passed the drink.
Priscilla threw her head back, swallowing as she raised her phone, tapping onto the notification.
She gave her friends a slight signal before walking away from the chaos.
The girl held her left hand up to her ear as she heard the line thrill.
"Can you hear me?" she yelled into the phone, looking around.
"Yeah, yeah."
"Where are you?"
"I'm here, just watching you," Fezco chuckled. Priscilla's eyebrows furrowed, her fingers clutching tighter to her temple, to hear him clearly. "Look up, princess."
Obeying his command, she looked up, spinning around towards the edge of the backyard.
There he was, standing with Ash by his side.
Tonight, he was wearing red.
A dark burgundy red sweater in hot weather. But, he didn't seem to sweat.
Priscilla smiled, lowering the phone to her lips.
"There's this weird guy staring at me, should I say something?"
"Tell him you have a man," he played back.
Priscilla raised her forehead, continuing to walk over him. The purple and green lights from the DJ's booth bounced off of her silhouette. "Do I, though?"
"As long as I'm breathing, you do."
Fezco hung up the phone, trying to contain his smile as she continued over towards him.
Ash gave him a dab, before disappearing into the crowd.
Priscilla wrapped her arms around him, swaying back and forth in his grips. "You look good," she complimented, her voice involuntarily going up in pitch, as it always did around him.
"You too, baby."
"My friends wants to say hi."
Fezco scratched his head, a nervous tick,"They don't hate me, yet?"
"Oh, they do, but they understand that I don't."
"P, we're gonna have to talk, you know that right?" Fezco questioned, snaking his arm around the drunken girl's waist, pulling her close to him. All that could be a present thought in Priscilla's mind right now was to enjoy herself. These past two years have been enough aging to last her until the age of 25. She knew that the couple would eventually have to have a conversation about where they stood, but she did not care, in that moment.
"I know, can we please just wait until tonight is over?"
