Rue softly closed the bedroom door behind her. As Priscilla took a seat on the bed, Rue shuffled around uncomfortably.

She didn't exactly know what to do with herself so she leaned against the computer desk. Rue watched as Priscilla continued to look around, slowly nodding her head.

"You changed your room around," her friend observed, making Rue chuckle.

"Considering I destroyed half of my furniture, yeah."

Rue nervously rubbed her thighs before deciding to take the empty seat next to Priscilla.

Priscilla could visibly see how nervous she was.

"How have you been?" Priscilla questioned.

The girls hadn't seen or talked to each other in almost two months. After the wild goose chase and all of the drama that followed suit, their friendship had taken a hiatus. Rue needed to focus on getting clean, and Priscilla had to register where her life was currently.

"Good, good," Rue chuckled, "it's hard but it feels different, being clean I mean. I forgot how good being clean felt."

"Are you actually going to stay clean?" Priscilla's question came out harsher than she had expected, but it was the truth.

Rue had told everyone who loved her multiple times that she was going to stop with the drugs, but she never truly did. She had lied and schemed so much over the past couple of years, trust and faith wouldn't be earned easily.

"I want to," the curly haired girl answered.

Priscilla remained silent, beginning to play with the rips of her jeans.

"I- I want to say I'm sorry."

"For what?" Her voice was unemotional. Rue had apologized a lot in the past, her words had little meaning to her friend at this point.

"For everything," Rue exhaled, deeply, "I put everyone through a lot. I lost a lot of friends and ruined a lot of relationships. So, I just want to say I'm sorry to you. I haven't been a good friend to you, or the easiest to deal with. I'm sorry for what happened with Fez too-"

"You weren't yourself."

"No excuse, all that shit I did, it wasn't right. I'm so sorry."

"It's okay, Rue. Seriously, it's okay." Priscilla didn't believe in staying angry at Rue, especially everything they had been through together. She knew her friend wasn't a bad person, she just did stupid shit.

"I feel like I don't know what's going on with anybody anymore. I feel like I don't know what goes on in your life anymore."

"Like I said, you haven't been yourself lately so I wouldn't expect you to. We can have that long, long talk later on, okay? I just want you to focus on getting better."
