Chapter 7

BRIE'S POV:
I woke up the next morning and realized that Joe was gone. I slowly got out of bed and stretched as I walked into the kitchen. I saw Joe standing in front of the stove. "Good morning," I said and smiled.

"Hey, you're finally up. I thought you would never get out of bed," Joe replied and laughed.
I looked at the clock and saw that it was already 11. "You let me sleep that late?" I exclaimed.
"Well I didn't wanna bother you, and you just look so cute when you're sleeping," Joe said. I rolled my eyes and laughed as I walked over to him. I saw that there were two plates of food on the counter and I slowly looked over at him.

"Damn, now I really owe you," I said.
"What do you mean?" he asked.
"Well now you made me breakfast n'shit."
"Who said it was for you?"
"I don't know...I just assumed.."
"I'm just kidding," Joe laughed and kissed me on my forehead. I scowled at him and picked up my plate. He laughed and kissed me on the cheek as I walked over to the table. He got his food and sat down next to me.

Right when I started to eat, my phone went off. I picked it up and saw that Paige texted me.

Crumpet:
hey, where were you last night?

Me:
I was busy.

Crumpet:
right, so are you doing anything later?

Me:
I don't think so, I'll ttyl. I'm being rude.

Crumpet:
what??

"Who're you texting?" Joe asked. God, he was so damn nosey.
"Paige," I replied, "she wants to know if I'm busy later." My phone started ringing and I saw that AJ was calling now. "Sorry, I'll be right back," I said and ruffled Joe's hair as I stood up. I answered the phone and walked into the living room.

"Hello?"

"Hey Briezy!"

"What's up?"

"Well..I don't know if Nicole talked to you or not yet, but she told Paige and Nattie that you were going out on a date with Joe last night....and you know how Nattie is. She was all 'ooohhh, how adorable.' And of course Paige was like 'oh we should all go out together!' I would, but I'm busy today, so is Nattie, so it's just gonna be Paige and Jon, Nikki and Colby, and you and Joe."

"Ohh...you didn't tell Nicole or anyone else anything, right?"

"O-of course not! Now I gotta go...bye Briezy! Good luck on your triple date tonight!"

AJ hung up and I walked back into the kitchen. Before Joe could say anything I told him that it was AJ who called, but I didn't tell him what it was about..yet. We finished eating and I insisted on doing the dishes, but he wouldn't let me.

"Come on, Joe. You've done so much for me lately, it's the least I can do."
"No it's fine," he replied.
"No, it's not," I said and stood up. I started picking up the dishes, but Joe took them out of my hands. I took them back and he put his arms around me. He pulled me close to him and started kissing me all over my face.
"Joe knock it off," I said while laughing. He took the dishes out of my hand and put them down on the table.

Joe wrapped his arms around my waist from behind. "Come on, Brie. Lemme do the dishes," he said and leaned his head against mine.
"Why do you wanna do the fucking dishes so bad?" I laughed.
"Cause..." he said and kissed my neck.
"Cause why?" I asked and smiled.
"I don't know.." he replied and kissed my neck again.
"Exactly," I laughed.

After we finally agreed that he would do the dishes, my phone rang again and this time it was Nicole. I walked back into the living room as I answered.

"AJ already told me about the triple date."

"Oh, never mind then...you are coming though, right?"

"I don't know Nicole, I just feel like everything is being kinda rushed..."

"Alright, see you later!"

"Bitch," I mumbled after Nicole hung up. I walked back into the kitchen just as Joe finished washing the dishes. I jumped onto the counter so I was sitting right in front of him. "What's up?" he asked and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Well, Nicole knew that we went out together last night so of course she tells Paige, so they have this idea that we should all go on a triple date..."
"Sure," Joe said.
"Oh, that was easier than I thought it would be," I said and chuckled.

NIKKI'S POV:
"So she's coming, right?" Paige asked as she put a snapback on.
"Yep," I replied as I put a necklace on, "I can't wait!! I wanna see how they are with each other!"
"Well I bet they're adorable as fuck," Paige said.
"True," I laughed. My phone went off and when I checked it I saw that Brie texted.

Hippie Chick:
Hey, you and Paige are picking me up, right?

Me:
Yeah, we'll be there soon. Joe knows that Jon's driving him and Colby?

Hippie Chick:
Yep, see you soon.

BRIE'S POV:
I put my phone down and continued to curl my hair. Once I was done curling it, I put it up and pulled some strands of hair out on the sides. I heard my front door open and Paige yelling, "Hippie Bella, we're heeeerrreee."
"I'll be right there," I yelled back and ran out of the bathroom. I greeted them and we all sat down on my couch. We didn't have to go for another hour so we just hung out for awhile.

"Oh, Nicole. Did you even hear what I was trying to say on the phone earlier?"
"Yeah, but I knew you wouldn't wanna go if I didn't force you," she replied. I looked over at Paige and rolled my eyes, she just shrugged her shoulders. "I'm listening now though, so what were you trying to say before?" she asked.

"Well I just feel like this is all kinda rushed. I started falling for him when I found out that we would be in a storyline together, to be honest..." I told Nicole and Paige everything that happened between Joe and I. I told them how AJ knew, that we hung out and ended up sleeping together (oops), how he asked me out to dinner and I told him about Bryan, and how he stayed over last night.

"Wait you slept with him?" Paige asked.
"Yes, but that's not the point. The point is that I feel like this is all so rushed. Like I just got my heart shattered into a million pieces by Bryan..and I just don't know.."
"Brie," Nicole started, "Joe is a really great guy, you might not find another guy like him. From what you're telling us it seems like he really really likes you, and you really like him too."
"Yeah, fuck Bryan. He's a stupid piece of shit," Paige said.
"Exactly, and Joe is gonna help you put your shattered heart back together. So if he asks you to be his girlfriend, I would say yes if I were you."
"Now come on, we don't wanna be late," Paige said and stood up.

We walked out to the car and started driving to the restaurant. I sat quietly the whole car ride and thought about what Nicole said. I hate to admit this, but she's right. I mean, I really really like Joe and if he asks me to be his girlfriend I don't even have to think twice about how I'd answer.
