Chapter 18

JOE'S POV:
I walked down the long hallway with my earbuds in and a towel around my neck. I would smile at anyone who passed by me in a hurry. RAW was over, and everyone was already busy at work getting everything away.

I walked into my locker room and put my stuff down. After I was done getting changed, I started packing my gear to get ready to leave. As I went to open the door, I saw Nikki standing there.

"Hey, is Brie here?" she asked.
"No....." I started, "I was actually going to look for her. She said she was coming by my locker room after the show, but she's not here," I replied.
"Yeah I thought she was coming here too," she said looking around.

I started to get this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach. Did Brie not want to see me? Was she mad at me?

"Well, she probably just went back to the hotel. She's most likely really tired after the show. Since we're sharing a room I'll text you if she's there," Nikki smiled.

We walked out of the arena and to our cars together. I made her promise me that she would text if Brie was there.

Nikki waved goodbye as she got in her car. I slowly opened my car door and got in. As I started to turn on my car, I stopped and sat back.

Something didn't feel right.

I know, I could just be overreacting. Like Nikki said, Brie was probably tired and went back to the hotel room......but she would let me know if she wasn't gonna stop by.

I put my head in my heads and let out a deep sigh. This is gonna be a long night.

NIKKI'S POV:
I wheeled my suitcase down the quiet hallway and stopped at my room. I took the key out and unlocked the door. "Brie?" I called out and turned on the lights. "Brianna?" I shouted, closing the door.

I sat down at the edge of one of the beds and took my phone out. I was about to text Joe, but stopped myself. Maybe Brie just went out to get something really quick, I don't know it could be anything. I don't wanna freak Joe out, so I'll text him later.

After getting ready for bed I turned on the TV and Brie still wasn't back. I called her about 10 times and texted her around 50. Still nothing. I texted Joe to let him know she wasn't back and put my phone down next to me. Right when I put it down, it started ringing. As I picked it up I felt adrenaline rush through me at the thought that Brie could be calling back to tell me that she's fine.

When I saw the number I was a bit confused, but decided to answer anyway because you never know.

"Hello?" I asked.
"Hey Nikki!" a familiar voice chirped.
After figuring out who the annoying voice belonged to, I made the most disgusted face I possibly could.

"What the hell do you want, Eva?" I spat.
"Well, someone's a little grumpy tonight."
I scoffed at that remark.
"Anyway," the whore continued, "I was just wondering how things were going...."
"Cut the shit, Eva. You know I can't stand you, and I know you can't stand me either. So what's this really about?"

She laughed, a disgusting, stomach churning laugh and said, "Oh, Nicole you always were the smarter twin, Speaking of twin, are you missing something? Or..someone?"

At first I was confused, but then it hit me like a bus. "You fucking psycho path..."I whispered into the phone.

"Well, I've already said too much. Buh-bye now!"

After that the line went dead. I slowly put my phone down again and stared blankly at the wall. What do I do? I've never been in a situation like this before. And what the hell does Eva want with Brie?

Without even thinking I sprung up from the bed, grabbed my suitcase, and started out of the room. I ran down the hallway and into the elevator. As the doors were closing I pressed the button with the number "7" on it about 1000 times.

When the doors finally opened again, I sprinted down the hall until I found room 738. I pounded on the door and it opened almost immediately.

"Nikki? What are you doing here?" Joe asked with a yawn. I saw Colby and Jon turn their heads around so they could see what was unfolding before them.

I didn't hesitate to say,

"I think I know where Brie is."
