Chapter 17

BRIE'S POV:
Stephanie McMahon walked down to the ring, mic already in hand, crowd going wild, as we all stood there like statues. Don't get me wrong, Stephanie is a sweetheart, but she's terrifying when she's in character.

"Ladies, ladies," Stephanie said once her theme stopped, "now I know you all think that you deserve to face Paige for her Diva's Championship...."

AJ cut her off. She was always the brave, daring soul in situations like this. "Think? No, I know that I should face Paige. In case you forgot, I was cheated out of my opportunity last month, and don't even get me started on....."

Stephanie stepped up to AJ, so close that they were almost touching. "Uhh...Boss Lady, you're kinda all up in my personal space..."

"AJ, in case you forgot who you're talking to, I'm Stephanie McMahon. Now you lost that battle royal so you should be thankful that you're even in the title picture." She paused for a second and then continued, "And remember who you're giving those crazy eyes to, I'm a McMahon. No one does crazy better than us."

AJ looked away and nervously tapped her foot. Stephanie lowered the mic, but it was still high enough so the crowd could just make out what she was saying, "AJ, I can take this title opportunity away from you. In fact, I can take your job away from you, so you better watch your mouth."

Stephanie brought the mic back up to her lips and said, "As you were saying, AJ." AJ took a step back and lowered her head in defeat. Stephanie smirked and continued, "As I was saying, you all think you deserve an opportunity for the Divas Championship, and I agree with you. So since WrestleMania is right around the corner, I was thinking, and please speak up if you must," which meant to keep our mouths shut if we knew what was best for us, "a fatal four-way match, Paige vs AJ Lee vs Brie Bella vs Nikki Bella for the Divas Championship. And to make that even better, that match will be one of the two main events for the show."

We all looked genuinely surprised and Stephanie said, "Good luck, ladies," and her theme hit as she left the ring.

Once the lights dimmed, which meant we were off air, we all walked backstage. "I can't believe we're gonna be one of the main events in WrestleMania!!" AJ blurted out.

"I know, I'm actually shaking right now oh my God!" Nikki exclaimed.

The four of us all hugged and jumped up and down like a bunch of 12 year olds at a sleepover. "Uh-oh, here comes trouble," Paige said with a smirk when she saw Jon coming our way. She walked over to him and they greeted each other with a quick kiss which cause the 3 of us hardcore Ambraige shippers to "awe".

While everyone was talking I slipped away to find Joe. I was so excited to see him, what else is new, that I broke into a slow jog. I stopped when I got to the door of his locker room. I took a deep breath and before I could knock I felt something heavy hit the back of my head and everything went dark.

hey guys, i'm so sorry that i haven't updated in forever. and i'm sorry that this chapter is kinda short. but i finally know what i'm doing with the story and i'll try to update as much as possible.
