Chapter 4

BRIE'S POV:
"Ooohh, Briezy's in lovveee." AJ teased. "So who's this mystery man?" She was staring right at me which caused me to look away. "Brieeee," she whined.
"AJ," I whined back.
"Come on."
"Fine," I sighed. "Just promise me you won't tell anyone?"
"I promise."
"I think I'm in love with Joe..." I confessed. She just raised her eyebrows at me and I shrugged. There was a long pause. The waitress broke the silence as she came over to clear the table. We got the check and left.
"Should we head over to the arena?" AJ asked as we walked to her car.
"Yeah, I brought my bags with me so we don't need to stop for anything." We both got into the car and drove to the arena where Smackdown was being held.

JOE'S POV:
"Come on," Colby yelled to Jon as he took his time getting his suitcase together."
"I'm going as fast as I can, damn," he replied. I sat on the couch resting my arms on my knees with my head in my hands. I don't know why, but I just couldn't get Brie out of my mind. It's kind of pointless, really. I mean, she's with Bryan and I don't think she's interested in me anyway..
"Hey!" Jon yelled snapping me back into reality. "Are you ready to go?"
"Yeah," I nodded and stood up. We all grabbed our suitcases and left the hotel room. Maybe I'll be able to talk to Brie tonight..outside of the ring..

BRIE'S POV:
AJ and I walked into the arena after greeting a few fans we saw in the parking lot. We carried our bags to the Women's Locker Room and threw them to the ground when we walked in. Since we got there early, we were the only ones there other than Tamina.

"Hey, Mina!" AJ said and skipped over to her.
"Hey, Tamina," I said.
"Hey girls, what's up?" she asked.
"Brie's in love!" AJ blurted out and put both of her hands over her mouth.
"AJ!" I yelled. "You promised you wouldn't tell anyone!"
"I'm sorry!" she replied and slowly put her arms around me for a hug. I rolled my eyes and hugged back. "I forgive you." I ended up telling Tamina everything. About the fight with Bryan, the storyline, how I think I love Joe..
"Get someee," she said. I playfully punched her in the arm and we all laughed.

"BRIE MODEE."
I pushed through the curtain and walked to the center of the stage. I put one finger in the air and ran down to the ring. I slapped a few fans hands on the way and slid into the ring. I hopped up onto the second turnbuckle and pointed out to the crowd. I hopped down and waited in my corner for my "surprise" opponent(s). Right after my theme stopped, Nikki's theme played and, of course, she came out with a mic in her hand and Seth right by her side.
"Now, Brie. Stephanie gave me the pleasure of picking your opponents and the stipulation for your match." The crowd booed and I put my hands on my hips as I waited for her to continue. "So, your opponents for tonight are Alicia Fox and Cameron! And, you will have one hand tied behind your back. Good luck, you're gonna need it." I rolled my eyes and yelled "you gotta be kidding me," as the crowed kept booing.

Alicia and Cameron both started attacking me before the bell rang. It was actually waaayy harder than I thought it would be to wrestle with only one arm. The match went on for about 7 minutes before I did a roll up on Cameron for the win. Before I knew it, Cameron, Alicia, and even Nikki were all attacking me as I helplessly tried to escape. I felt a strong hand grab my arm and I was pulled out of the ring. I looked up at my savior and saw none other than Roman Reigns.

JOE'S POV:
She looked up at me with her gorgeous brown eyes and I think I melted inside. God, Brie was just so adorable. I started to untie her hand, and after she was freed she shook her arm out and jumped up as she put her arms around my neck. I put my arms around her waist and pulled her close to me.

We started walking up the ramp as Nikki yelled at us from the ring. Brie mocked her by doing the "loser" sign with one hand while she kept her other arm around my mid-section. I had my arm around her shoulders and just laughed at how adorable Brie was when she was "mad". I held the curtain open for her as we walked backstage. She turned around to face me. "Thanks for saving me..again," she giggled.
"No problem," I said and smiled. I was about to do it, there was no way I was backing out of this. "Hey..Brie.." I started.
"Yesss?" she smiled at me.
"I was wondering, if Bryan's ok with it, if you wanted to maybe..hang out later?"
"Bryan and I aren't together any more...so totally! Yeah, I'd love to!" she replied and giggled.
"Alright, I'll meet you outside of your locker room after the show," I said and smiled.

BRIE'S POV:
I ran down the hall and burst through the door of the Women's Locker Room. Everyone looked up, but I ignored them and ran over to AJ. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her out into the hallway. "What? Are you ok?" she asked nervously.
"Joe wants to hang out with me later, he's gonna come by the locker room later to get me!!" We both held onto each other's arms and jumped up and down squealing. "Oh my God, that's great!!!" she yelled excitedly.
"I know right?!"
"Just use protection," she said in a more serious tone.
"AJ!" I said and playfully smacked her arm.
"I'm just kidding, have fun," she laughed.
"Thanks," I laughed and we headed back into the locker room,

"What was that all about?" Trinity asked.
"Nothing," AJ and I both said at the same time. I walked over to my bag and pulled out my makeup and a hair tie. I walked over to a mirror and fixed my makeup, then I changed into a loose crop top and black skinny jeans, I tied my hair into a low side ponytail and just looked at myself in the mirror. I started going into a mini "panic mode" and motioned for AJ to come over.
"What's up?" she asked.
"How do I look?? Do I look ok?? I feel like this outfit doesn't look right, and my hair...."
"Brie!" AJ cut me off. "Relax, you look fine. Ok? And honestly, I don't think Joe will care what you look like."
"You're right, thank you. I don't think I would survive without you," I laughed.

JOES' POV:
I ran my fingers through my hair and let out a nervous sigh before knocking on the door to the Women's Locker Room. The door opened almost immediately and I saw Brie standing in the doorway. "Hey," she said and smiled. "You can come in, everyone left." I walked in and didn't realize I was staring at her as she was closing the door. I looked away right before she turned around. "I just need to grab my bags and we can go."
"Need any help?" I offered.
"I think I got everything, thanks." she said as she picked up her bags. We walked out of the locker room and headed outside of the arena. "I drove with AJ and she knows I'm getting a ride so we're all good," she laughed. I took her bags and threw them in the back seat, then I walked over to her door and opened it for her. I closed it as she buckled her seat belt and headed over to my side. When I got in the car I looked over at her. How is it possible that anyone could be this beautiful? "Wanna head back to my hotel room and chill?" I asked.

BRIE'S POV:
We walked into Joe's hotel room and I put my bags on the floor. He led me over to the couch and we both sat down. He turned on a horror movie. Horror movies weren't my favorite, to be honest, but this gives me an opportunity to act all scared and cuddle up close to him. And that's exactly what I did about 20 minutes into the movie. I jumped and put my head on his chest, he just laughed and put his arm around me. He pulled me close to him and I got comfortable like that. It just felt so natural to be like this, like I never felt this comfortable when I was with Bryan. This is just what felt right and I never wanted to move.

After about an hour, he turned the TV off and looked down at me. "This movie started to bore me," he laughed, "and you're way more interesting than any old movie." I giggled and looked into his adorable blue eyes. We started leaning in towards each other and before I knew it, my eyes were closed and our lips were locked. And at this moment I didn't think I was in love, I knew I was in love.

the feels oh my. i feel like this chapter was kinda rushed bc i'm at my dad's and he hates when i have my phone. also, it's kinda late. xD so i'll try to update this asap, k? :3
