Hey guys. I am SO SORRY for the late update, like, EXTREMELY LATE. I don't know if I can keep up with the schedule anymore. No, I am actually committing to this story, I am not unfocused or all of that. It's just the fact that my scores at school are lowering and I am really trying to raise it back up.

I am sorry. I am such a bad role model. Don't follow my example, children. I am sorry. I extremely am.

Faking is becoming way too easy.

[Dan's POV]

I didn't feel like waking up. Phil was just so comforting, I can't help but cry myself to sleep on his shoulder. It's too inviting. But somewhere, in the middle between being conscious and unconscious, I felt his hands carrying me, laying me by his back, both of his arms holding my legs up while he tries to move my head to the crook of his neck. I let out a groan, snuggling my head deeper.

He laid me down by the sofa, where my pillow is already there. I felt his presence dissapear for a second before he appears again. I felt wind pushing down against me, before the duvet landed on me, wrapping me in the warmth. Phil tries to cover everything, not wanting any of my skin coming in immediate contact with the air.

"You need all the rest you can get. Sleep tight." His eyes dug into me, as he let out a sigh. Then, he was gone once again, probably into his room.

I can't help but smile a little bit.

My brain decided to wake up. It was annoying, I still wanted to sleep. There was no ray of light shining from the window; it would've shined right in front of my eyesight.

I tried closing my eyes again, snuggling more into the warmth of the duvet. But no, my eyes aren't tired anymore.

"UGGHHH."

Whatever, it's probably time anyways. You're not going to piss me off this time, life.

I sat up on the couch. I have no idea what do I do now.

"Hey Dan. Awake?" A smile crept on his face as he enters the room, his eyes shining as they look at me. I can't help but grin at him.

"No, this is just imaginary Dan. Real Dan just went out." He laughed, punching my arms lightly. "Owww," I pretended to be in pain.

"Don't be a baby, let's watch some AOT."

Being my, well, brainwashed self, I didn't get it. Phil must've saw my reaction as he frowned. "Oh yeah. Uhm.. It stands for Attack on Titan. You have watched a part of it, right?"

"Oh, earlier today, right?" He nodded, as I pulled the duvet, turning myself into a human burrito. "You can start now." He laughed. "Okay then, I'm doing that too." He runs into his room, grabbing his duvet. He drops it next to me, then goes into the kitchen.

An evil smile crept on my face. I pulled his duvet when he wasn't looking, and wrapped it below my own duvet. Now, I look like some sort of arctic man. Or a Yeti?

"Here you go- Hey, where is my duvet?" He asked me, and I shook my head. "I don't know. I was looking at the window the whole time. Did you even put a duvet here?"

"I-I did." He looks around the couch, but being the stupid me, I let out a loud laugh. Phil immediately looks up to me.

"Dan.. Where did you put my duvet?"

"I didn't take it.."

"Lies." He jumps towards me, making me fall down from the couch. It didn't hurt though, due to the protective layers (also known as duvets) that I wore so well.
