This routine went on for days or maybe even weeks, it was getting hard to tell the difference. Bucky was starting to weaken and it was starting to worry me. He always made sure not to let it show though as he made jokes and tried to make me feel better; but I knew better. He was in pain and I couldn't help him. Today as they lead us back to the cells I stare down at the ground in front of me. When we reach the cell I see Duggan's hat fly past me and I instinctively catch it and turning back see him staring down the guard. I hand him his hat and as he puts it on he says, "You know, Fritz, one of these days I'm gonna have a stick of my own."
I smirk and then turn to see that Bucky wasn't in the cell. My heart dropped. "Where's Bucky?" I say barely above a whisper before turning and running toward the cell door to instantly find it closed. "Where's BUCKY!" I yell out as I bang against the bars. "Give him back to me!"
"Jeneel!" Duggan says as he instantly grabs me and pulls me away from the door. "It's okay, they'll bring him back."
"They better," I say as my eyes fill with fire. "Or they'll deeply regret it."

Hours pass and I am sitting next to Duggan with my head lying against his shoulder when a guard falls on top of our cage making us all jump. I look up and my heart jumps in my chest. "Steve," I say barely above a whisper as a smile crosses my lips. "Who are you supposed to be?" Gabe asks and I bite my lip waiting for his reply.
"I'm Captain America," He says and I practically fan girl in my footsteps.
"I beg your pardon?" A man named James says and I gently touch his arm as I say, "It's okay, he's here to help us."
As Steve opens all the doors, the one holding me last, he pauses as he sees me. "Hello Captain Rogers," I say as a smile covers my lips and he raises an eyebrow. "Do i know you?"
Shit.
I quickly shake my head and offer him a thankful smile as I say, "No, I've just heard about you." He opens his mouth to say something but before he has a chance to respond one of the other prisoners says, "What, are we taking everybody?" I look toward the voice to see him staring at me and I narrow my eyes.
"Watch it boy," I hear Duggan say as he moves closer to me, "OR she might just light you up." The soldier turns back to me and I give him a smug smile.
"Is there anyone else? I'm looking for a Sergeant James Barnes," Steve says and my heart clenches.
Bucky!
"There's an isolation ward in the factory, but he hasn't come back from it." James says and my heart drops.
Not now Jen, he's just fine.
"All right. The tree ling is Northwest, 80 yards past the gate. Get out fast and give 'em hell. I'll meet you guys in the clearing with anybody else I find."
"Wait. You know what you're doing?" Gabe asks and I bite my lip.
"Yeah. I've knocked out Adolf Hitler over 200 times." He replies and I bite my lips to keep from laughing. He starts to run away and I stop him.
"Wait, I'm going with you!" I call out as I run after him only to be stopped by Duggan grabbing my arm.
"What are you doing Sunshine?"
"I'm going to get Bucky," I say as I pull my arms from his grasp. Worry fills his face and I offer him a smile, "Don't worry Steve will keep me safe, you guys go out there and raise a little hell okay?" He reluctantly nods and I smirk. "Take care of Duggan Gabe!" I call out as I run after Steve.
