The next few days went by rather quickly. Peggy took me shopping and I finally got a bra with the right size. I asked her about the 107th one day and she told me that they were being reassigned to another part of the country and my heart clenched. The boys were moving on and I probably wouldn't see them again. Peggy and I had become rather close and great friends. Today she had come home early and we went out to a nearby café for some tea and biscuits. "Look, let's get back and get you changed." Peggy says as she sets her tea cup down on the table.

"What? Why?" I say as I gently place my cup down on the table and follow after her as she walks away.

"We're going out tonight."

"What? Why?"

"Are those your two favorite words?" She says as she raises an eyebrow at me.

"Maybe," I say as I smirk at her.

"Honestly Jen, you are a complete child sometimes."

"Well you know I learned from the best," I say thinking about Tony when suddenly my smirk falls.

"Are you alright?" She asks as she notices my frown.

"Yeah, I just remembered something from my past."

"What did you remember?" She asks as she looks forward.

"My friend Tony, he was a scientist like me, we were really good friends."

"Perhaps you'll see him again."

"I hope so, "I say as I take a deep breath and letting it out continue, "So why are we going out tonight?"

"You'll see," she says as she smiles deviously.

We quickly make our way back to her apartment where Peggy immediately starts pulling out dresses and I smirk. "What dress are you gonna wear?" I ask and she smirks.

"I was thinking the red one." She says holding it up and I nod enthusiastically. Then she pulls out a purple one and handing it to me says, "Here this one's for you."

"Really?" I ask as walk over to her and slowly take it from her.

"Of course, it completely compliments your hair, eyes, and skin."

"I don't usually wear dresses but thank you," I say as I gently run my fingers over the satiny fabric.

"Oh it's a pleasure," she says as she walks over to the bathroom before continuing, "Now hurry we don't have much time."

"Yes ma'am," I say as I salute her before I start pulling my clothes off to put the dress on. As I pull it on I reach back and zip it up. It fit like a glove. I smile as I walk over to the bathroom and opening the door do a little spin for Peggy who smiles.

"See I knew it would fit you," She says as she turns back to the mirror to fix her makeup.

"Ah Peggy you don't need makeup," I say as I walk over and place my chin on her shoulder. "You are beautiful just the way you are.

"Thank you Jen, but I'm meeting someone special and I want to make an impression."

"Oh really? Who are you meeting?"

"It's a surprise," she says as she wiggles her eyebrows at me.

"Boo Peggy I wanna know now!" I say as I pout.

"What's the point of a surprise if I tell you huh?"

"Good point, I'll go get your dress."

"Thank you dear!" She hollers at me through the bathroom door.
