Ocean Ruck

I climbed in the car and sat down. I buckled up and sighed.

Hopefully this is a good idea.

"So, Miss Ocean." Cornel Graff said. "What made you interested in commanding your own army?" I looked at him quickly.

"I don't really know, to be honest with you. Just, I saw Aaron go to school there. And he would come home and tell Alex and I stories about Command School, and I thought it was so... Amazing. I would imagine myself being in Command School. And me telling my own army what to do. Where to go. Aaron was also nice to me at that time. We got along so well.

Then he came home one day. He was in shock. I asked him what was wrong. But he wouldn't talk. I looked on the back of his neck and saw the monitor gone. I automatically knew he was out. Then, about two years later. Alex went in. Aaron was really, all I had left. We would hang out a lot. I was still too young to make it to Command School.

Then about two months later, Alex told me he got kicked out of the program. Mother thought we were disappointments. Then she looked at me, then tried to put me in Command School. They said I was still two years young, but they had me tested. And I got in.

That's when Aaron and I started to fight. I miss being his best friend. But, nothing really holds its shape after a while. I think he was just mad that I was in Command School longer then he was. Alex says it's because I'm a Third and Mother and Father had to had special permission to have me." I explained. Cornell Graff nodded.

"It does sound like he is very jealous of you, Ocean. But you can't have that get in your way. You need to fight for what's right for you, not for anyone else." I nodded.

"Yes, Sir." He smiled and nodded.

"When I was looking at you through your monitor. I thought you were intelligent, smart, and wise. I need those things for this school. You are a special girl, Ocean. Very special." I smiled.

"Who else made it in?" I asked.

"This girl, names Courtney Howell. And another boy named Ender Wiggin. And Greg Judge." I nodded and sighed as I looked forward and saw the green trees pass by the moving road.

Great, Greg's coming aboard.
