"I still can't believe we made it." Ender said with a smile. I smiled back, nodded as I did.

"Me neither. I, for sure, thought they were going to skip over me, picking someone else." I confessed to Ender. He nodded.

"Yeah, me too." Ender said. "Do you have any siblings?" I nodded shyly.

"Yeah, two older brothers; Aaron and Alex." I answered.

"Do you get along with them well?" He asked. I shrugged my shoulders as the smile on my face ran away. I looked down at my lap as I played with my fingers.

"Um." I sighed, trying to find the words to say to him. I shrugged again, blanking out. "I get along with Alex fairly well. He slacks off but is a great brother. My oldest brother, Aaron, is not very fond of me." I answered. I looked up at Ender. He wasn't smiling anymore. I did a little smile, hiding the pain of the memories with Aaron and Alex, and how we all got along so easily. "Aaron and I fight, a lot. He was upset to hear that me, being a Third, is going to Space School. But, he's happy at the same time, because he doesn't have to deal with me."

"Don't say that." Ender said horsely.

"What am I supposed to say, Ender?" I asked. "Lie? Lie about my relationship with my brother? Should I say that we never fight? And that we both get along so well?" I asked a little too harshly. Ender shook his head.

"That's not what I was saying at all." Ender whispered. "I just said not to think negative of your brother. He probably misses you. He's probably jealous that you've gotten a lot farther with schooling then he did. But, in my honest opinion, think that he's proud of you, deep, deep down inside him." Ender explained in a normal tone. I thought about it.

Maybe Ender's right. Maybe Aaron is proud of me. Maybe he's just upset that I have gotten farther then he did.

I nodded, looking back at Ender.

"Maybe you're right." I sighed. Ender nodded.

"Hello, new recruits." I heard a female say over the loud speaker. I looked up at the ceiling of the rocket, listening to what she has to say. "We are glad to have our next commanders aboard with us. We hope you will find this a new opportunity for all of you. Please, sit back in your chairs, and look forwards. We will be taking off in t-minus-two minutes."
