Phoenixstep is a ruddy orange color with golden accents along his back and chest. His eyes are a reddish brown and when he feels strong emotion the tend to seem redder then the actually are. He has four 'X' shaped scars on the back of his neck one directly between his ears and the others smaller at the base of his left and right.

Phoenixstep has a light hearted and strong personality. He enjoys being in charge though he listens to others' opinions he usually relies on his own mixed with theirs. He enjoys being playful to a degree and is not one to pass up light hearted fun especially if it could possibly benefit someone other than him.

At a young age Phoenixstep lived in mountains valleys windward of the clan with his mother and father. The meadows there were open and plentiful until stripped barren by twolegs ravaging the land to place a resort where he lived. He escaped with his life but lost his family in separation, so he traveled unknowingly into the clan's land and asked for refuge from an oncoming storm that he had noticed upon arrival. At time the storm came it was worse then expected and almost cost a queen and her kits their lives had he not saved them from drowning. At that he'd asked to join the clan and had been there ever since.
