This scene is of Jade when she first found Lana in the ruins of the once thriving home base of the baridi clan.

Here's a short oneshot on it

.:a Kit from the snow:.

The snow crunched softly under Jade's paws. She'd been tracking an infamous pack of hunters for the past few sunrises now, it had lead her to the snow clad forest of veilad home of the long winter. She let out a short huff seeing the on steam of her breath float in the air before her. It wasn't the coldest whether she'd experienced, but it was certainly close. she had to thank her Pa for that cold resistant pelt. Jade's father had been a snow wolf of the southern part of the continent, someplace she had yet to visit. She continued on following the Hunter's tracks.
"Hm... Seems like they stopped here... Very recently, their stench still lingers" she mused. Before she could even continue to follow, a low howl further down the tracks, then a rumbling explosion. Light flickered in the forest as fire arose like claws reaching for prey, licking their way up the trees scorching offspring in their wake. The light burned in Jade's gaze, it wasn't too far from where she was. She assumed the hunters were up to no good. A low growl rumbled in her throat, she knew she shouldn't reveal herself to them, but the screams. There was a huge racket of creatures crying and begging for mercy. Or was like someone were grinding her bones together. She bared her teeth and strode forward before bounding to the fray snow splattering through the air. It didn't take long for the chilled air to burn her lungs. A blizzard was due within through next mark of the Moon, she had to hurry, the snow cats living here would stand no chance with the fire having burned away their shelter. With that thought she picked up her pace till she was just at the edge of the flames. There she saw hunters and the baridi fighting within the heat of the flames. Snow had turned to ice, patches of freezing mud visible thanks to the fire. Jade growled, she would not let the hunters end the snow cats, throwing her head back she released a low howl letting it ring through the air. She could audibly her the battle hesitate at such a sound.
"The lightning beast!" she heard one of the hunters shout. She'd been infamous among the masses of light and dark users who often looked down upon grim magic as far more sinister and twisted than anything they'd have within their respective types. Because of that, it didn't take long for some hunter to send a fireball barreling towards her. She dodged it flames licking at her side, but she wasn't fazed, she only drew her lips back in an snarl. Pure electricity surged around her and she charged into the fray, the hunters began fighting again. It was obvious the snow cats' moral had been raised, they were fighting harder now. As Jade run into the battle, her eyes caught sight of the Hunter's captain. It was a maned wolf, flames pouring from his jowls, he'd been the culprit of the fire ball. The captains eyes averted from his opponent to Jade. He grinned sinisterly
"Lightning Beast, you're here. I assume you've come to ward me off" he chuckled "I've been waiting for your attention for forever now. I'm pleased to see you're out of my shadow and here to face me head on" he said, flames falling from his mouth.
"Then let's fight Volcan" she snarled lunging a him electricity charged around her jowls in a similar fashion as his flames. she charged for his throat and he reared up on his hind legs with a snarl, but Jade planted her paws on the ground and head butted him in the stomach. Volcan stumbled back, a gasp of disbelief falling from his mouth as he fell. Jade pressed a paw to Volcan's chest and the wolf growled,

"To think I fell for such a ploy" he said vehemently.

"I'm not here to kill you yet Volcan, get your hunters out of here or else I'll slaughter them all" Jade said. Volcan only snickered

"How cute, I'll retreat, we've already won anyway" He cackled pushing Jade off of him and getting to his paws before releasing a howl to call his forces off. He sent a look of disdain towards Jade, before striding into the flames. As he left a baridi came up to her. Blood was clinging to her white fur, showing the place of a deep wound on her throat. Her breathe was labored and she looked just about ready to die. She looked up at jade, a pleading look in her gaze.

"Lightning beast, please, I need you to take my child, she is a grim user, l-like you are..." at that point the leopardess was limping towards a nest, assumably hers. Jade followed her cautiously until she heard a small mewling coming from inside. They leopardess curled around the nest "They came for her.... many grim have begun to be born around the lands... Some say its an omen that shadow will be returning..... the hunters are collecting them...... They wanted her, but I.... But I gave them her brother.... Please take her, you'll keep her safe." she choked before silence. Jade paused mournful for the poor leopardess, then turned to the source of the mewling. A kit just out of nursing laid next to two other deceased kits mewling disparately.

"Looks like its just you and me little one...."
