By the time Ashley reached the destination, other ambo's along with other fire trucks had shown up.
"What's going on?" She asked.
"Some idiot fell asleep with a candle burning. It engulfed the whole building." Lee Henry told her.
"Oh damn."
"Yeah. You should probably step back." He said, attaching the hose to the fire hydrant.
Ashley did as she was told and stepped back to give them room.
Ember and Mackenzie were helping a victim who had been carried out of the burning building. Her face had been burned, so they proceeded to intubate and get her breathing again.
"WATCH OUT!" Terrance yelled, diving out of the head and landing on his side.
A huge explosion occurred and blew all the windows out. The girls were thrown across the street and landed with a loud slam on the pavement.
Galina went running over to them. "Are you guys okay?!" She went to pick them up, but she was stopped.
"What do you think you're doing?! The worst thing you can do is try and move them. They could have spinal fractures!" Peter shouted.
"I'm sorry! I-"
"Don't worry about it. Just don't move them again, okay?"
"Yes chief."
"We're gonna need another ambo at five seven one Division Street." He said into his radio.
"Another ambo is on route, Chief Mills." The voice on the other end responded.
Ember screamed out in pain as she tried to get up.
"Don't move."
"But chief, we weren't even done helping that woman!"
"Not another word out of you two. Got it?"
They nodded their heads and didn't move until the next ambo arrived.
Kelly jumped out of the back and ran over to Ember, while Matt ran over to Mackenzie.
"What happened to you guys?!"
Mackenzie's trembling hand was reaching in the direction of the engulfed house.
"Why didn't you call us down here sooner? We could've helped!"
"You guys are too busy being big office guys, you don't have time for the little people anymore."
"We're also still on call firemen. We're there when you need us."
Suddenly, a crash could be heard and some yelling afterwards. Raelyn ran inside and found that Andy had fallen through the floor.
"Hold on! I'm coming!"
"Hurry!"
She ran outside. "Luke Hermann get your ass in here!"
Luke, Lee Henry and Griffin ran in. Rae landed on the table, while the other three were in a line holding onto each other.
"Andy grab my hand!"
The flames were slowly surrounding him and he jumped. Rae grabbed his hand and the others pulled them up. By the time they got out, the building caved in.
"Was there anyone else inside?"
"No. The building is clear, chief." Noah replied.
"Good." He looked around. "Is everyone alright?"
