After Kelly left, Lee Henry approached Mackenzie after everyone dissipated outside.

"Okay, what's up with you?"

"What do you mean?"

"How come you got out of the drug test and none of us could?"

"I think that's my business."

"I'm not gonna tell anyone anything. Now Luke is the person you need to worry about."

"Dude, I'm on my freaking period. Do I need to spell it out for you?!"

He laughed. "Nope. Message received."

"Good."

"So has Terrance asked you yet?"

"Asked me what?"

"To marry him."

"We've been together for a long time, but he doesn't seem the marriage type. If he wants to marry me, he'll ask."

"Why not just ask him to marry you?"

"My grandparents would kill me if that happened."

"Why?"

"Tradiciónes."

"What did you just say?"

"It's tradition for the man to ask the woman. I'm Catholic and Hispanic, so I have to stick to my traditions. If that doesn't happen, I'm likely to never hear the end of it."

"I guess I can see where they're coming from."

"Not to mention my dad would flip his shit if he found out."

"You're an adult. Why would his say in who you date matter?"

"Lee Henry, he's still my father. I've always gone to him for everything. I'm not gonna back out on that just because I'm an adult. I still care to hear what he says."

***Later***

Terrance knocked on the door of the Casey residence. Matt answered.

"Can I help you?"

"Yes sir, Mr. Casey."

"Come in." Matt said, moving to the side as Terrance walked in the house.

Terrance closed the door. "I've got a favor to ask."

"No, I'm not getting you into Stilettos for free."

They laughed. "No, that's not why I came to you."

"What is it?"

"I came to tell you and Gabriela that I love your daughter more than anything. And..."

Gabby entered the room. "Oh hey, Terrance. You hungry? I could make you something"

Matt waved her into the room.

"What is it?"

"Terrance here has something to ask us."

She sat down. "Oh? What would that be?"

"I would like your blessing."

"For what?" Matt raised an eyebrow.

"To marry your daughter."

Gabby nearly spit out her coffee and then got silent. A minute later, she finally realized what Terrance had asked. "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!"

"Can I?"

They exchanged glances.

"Of course you can. You need to promise us a few things first."

"Of course, Mr. Casey."
