Quest Of The Key (A Pokemon Story)

Chapter 1

A/N: First Chapter!!

I'm so EXCITED!!!!

Let's get started...

Chapter 1:

Nikila Walker ran after her sister, a look of annoyance crossing over her face.

"Shantyl!"

"Yeah?" Shantyl yelled back, her dark brown hair tossing in the wind, "Tell me later, will you?"

"Can't!" Nikila shouted, racing after her younger sibling, "You're going the wrong way!!"

"Oh."

Shantyl stopped and Nikila crashed right into her.

The sisters toppled down onto the the green grass.

Shantyl giggled, "You didn't sound that close."

"And you don't sound sorry," The older sister groaned.

Shantyl laughed, picking herself up and giving the other girl a hand, "Sorry, sis."

Niki took the brunette's hand and got up, dusting herself off, "That's alright, Shan... Now, where were we?"

"We..." Shantyl looked around for a moment, "are lost?"

Niki sighed.

The Walker sisters were pretty girls with dark brown hair and eyes.

Born in the calm and peaceful town of Pallet, they'd explored very little of the Pokemon world.

It didn't help that their parents were extremely over protective and hadn't let them leave their town at all.

Nikila led her sister down the grassy hill and to the small pathway that swiveled all through Pallet Town.

She thought back to the many trainers that had left from here, happy to be embarking on their very own Pokemon adventure.

Almost no one of her age was left in the vastly spread little town.

Her irritation arose at the thought.

Shantyl grabbed her arm suddenly, "Finally. We finally get to go on our own!! With Pokemon too!"

Nikila smiled, her heart lifting at that.

It was true.

Nikila was sixteen years old and her sister was twelve.

Their parents had finally, after much hesitation, decided to allow their girls to get Pokemon and start their own adventure.

A thrill shot up Niki's spine.

"Sure we aren't lost?" Shantyl inquired.

"Positive." Nikila said, hiding her building excitement.

The first step was being taken.

They were going to the famous Pokemon expert Prof. Oak to collect the Pokemon he'd selected for them.

Niki looked over at her little sister.
