Also, yesterday was Pokemon day!

Twenty years of Pokemon!! I'm really happy about that. I wish Pokemon would get better though... Like, don't degrade my childhood... Make it even better or at least as good as it used to be.

It's not bad now just, not as cool and set apart as it used to be...

It's gone from being a life with amazing creatures as your best friends to strategic battles with sudden speeches of friendship...

Anyway,

Chapter 10:

"Let's do it again!"

"You're insane."

Niki began her sprint leaving behind an exhausted Shantyl.

Shan and Mudkip just curled up on the forest floor.

Treecko and Niki looked over at their friends, glanced back at each other, and sighed.

"Come on, Shan..."

"Go on without me..."

Niki rolled her eyes, "Don't be so dramatic."

Shan slowly sat up with a grin, "But honestly, what did you say about this training?"

"We're running," Niki explained sinking to the ground herself, "It's good exercise we're not used to..."

"I run all the time," Shan shook her head, "But this is painful! My feet hurt!!"

"Yeah, well," Niki gave her a sad smile, "We're not playing any more, you know... We're training. We're going to get stronger and collect gym badges."

Shan thought for a few moments, "Yeah!!"

Niki smiled at the enthusiasm, "Great. Let's start-"

"Tomorrow!"

"No, Shan!!"

Sliding a hand out of his pocket, the blond man cracked his knuckles before easily pulling out a Pokeball.

Letting a corner of his mouth lift, the boy leaned back against the tree.

"So tired!!"

"I am too! Don't complain!!"

"Oh, let me carry you, Mudkip!"

"Shan, no!!"

Pulling his cap low over his eyes, the man reached for a dark red cloth to cover the lower part of his goodlooking face.

Releasing an Azurill from it's Pokeball, he reached out to grab hold of a few branches and launch himself into the air.

The smooth movement of the tree didn't attract the attention of the sisters.
