Cookies

"Yay we have a new member." said the Megan as she came over to me and hugged me.

"Hey get off me!" I yelled as I pushed her off.

"Why?"

"Cause."

"Come on let me take your room," she said as she runs out of the room pulling me with her. After a few minutes of running, we stopped at a room. She opened the door and my bag was on the bed. I ran toward it and opened the bag to make sure that everything was there. I pulled out my earpiece and place it back in my ear. Megan walked towards me and sat down the bed.

"So where are you from?"

"Not from around here."

"What's your name?"

"Unity."

"Cool name."

"Thanks."

I pulled out the knife that was covered in blood from my boot.

"Mm, Megan do you have a bowl I can use?"

"Yeah I'll be right back." she walked out the room. A few minutes passed by and she came back with a bowl filled with water. I started to clean the knife as Megan started to talk.

"So Unity since when did you know you were like.... shield?"

"Since I first meet Loki. He wanted to control me but he failed." I didn't even looked at her the whole time I was talking.

"Oh, do you have any other powers?"

"I can control elements."

"Really? You can do that?"

"Yeah."

"Can you show me?"

"I'm not good. I don't really use my powers."

"Why not?"

"I don't know. I guess it's because my parents don't want me to use them.I guess I got use to not using my powers." I finished cleaning my knife and put it in my boot.

"So Unity do you want to help me?"

"With what?" I asked.

"Make cookies."

"Cookies?"

"Yeah. Want to help me?"

"Oh well, I'm not good at making cookies."

"I can show you. Come on."

"Um, i think I 'll pass."

Five minutes later

I was in the kitchen helping Megan make cookies. I have no idea how she made me agree to help her but what can I do know. I've been here for like what? Ten minutes and I already have a friend. That's good at least I wouldn't be alone. Right? It was just me and Megan in the kitchen. I have no idea where the others went they just disappeared. I have never cooked in my life. I would always have other people do that for me. But with Megan's help, I made my first batch of cookies. The cookies smelled delicious.

"See it wasn't so hard now was it?"

"No, it wasn't hard."

"So do you want one?"

"Yep." I grabbed one and biting it. It wasn't so bad. I had three cookies and I was about to take a bit out of my fourth one when someone took it away.

"Hey, that was mine!"

"Not anymore." The boy said taking a bite out of it.

"Wally that wasn't very nice." I heard Megan say behind me.

I was about to grabbed another cookie when Wally grabbed the whole plate and walked away.

"Hey, you can't take the whole plate!" I yelled at him.

"I just did," he called back with his mouth full of cookies. I walked after him.

"It's ok we can just make another batch." said Megan.

I did listen to her because I was too busy fighting with Wally. I manage to grab two cookies before they hit the ground. I was sitting on top of Wally enjoying my cookies. That I made.
