The Night of The Living Dead part 2

"Watch out Nightingale!" yelled Artemis. I quickly turn around and hit the zombie with a bat-a-rang. I then ran towards the exit. Barbara, Alfred, and Artemis's mother are in star city right now. It's great to know that they are safe. The whole young justice team are here to help us and they found it weird to see Artemis in the new Bat-girl uniform. They got Barbara, Alfred, and Artemis's mother way from here. But we found three kids here and we are trying your best to keep them alive. One boy and two girls. They were thirteenth , seven and eleven years old. But two of them got turned into a zombie and we had to leave them behind. It was just the girl. Her name not sure we haven't got time to ask her. I mean who on earth would! When Zombies are chasing you. Well it's not really a chase but you know what i mean. Right now we have to get this girl to safely. Robin, Artemis and i are trying our best to fight off the zombies. But there are just too many. Everywhere i turn there is a zombie. I know hate zombies movies. It seems like the whole city has been infected with this. I wonder if there is a cure to this. Batman...we have no idea where he is or if he is infected. He might be and that is what's scares me the most. I wish this is all a dream but it's not it's real and there is no stopping this infection from spreading . I grabbed my grappling gun out of my utility belt.And shot. I landed on the roof of a building. Good no zombies. Robin, Artemis, and the girl landed on the roof.

"Nightingale what are we going to do now?" asked Artemis.

"I have no idea. We have to get her to safely." i said gesturing towards the girl near Robin.

"But how are we going to do that? The team doesn't know where we are."

"I know. But we can get lucky."

"If we were lucky today there wouldn't be a zombie apocalypse going on right now."

"True but you never know. I think for know that it's safer if we travel by roof."

"Ok ." said Artemis as she pulled out her grappling gun.

It took us ten minutes before we ran into a zombie. Robin quickly left to a safe place with the girl. So it was just me and Artemis and since we know how to kill them it would be easy. Wrong. It had buddies and Artemis was running out of arrows and i was running out of Bat-a-rangs. Artemis released her last arrow and hit one in the head. I only had two bat-a-rangs left. And we had three zombies left. Without thinking i through them. It hit two but there was one left. Me and Artemis got out your grappling guns because we knew what would happen if we stay here. We headed towards the direction Robin went. We found him and the girl on a roof far away from Gotham Park.

"This is not good we have to leave Gotham right now!" yelled Artemis. "We ran out of arrows and bat-a-rangs."

"Not yet." i answered

"What do you mean?" she asked confused

"Robin still has all his bird-a-rangs."

"Yeah but that not's going to help. There are hundreds of Zombies and like what 40 bird-a-rangs?!"

"She's right we have to leave there is no way we can keep going." said Robin.

I looked at them. They are right we can't keep fight unless we want to turn into one of them or worst. Artemis and Robin are right we have to leave now before it's too late.

"Fine lets go. If we go west we might escape Gotham faster."

"Ok lets go." said Artemis.

I was correct in going west. We got out of Gotham faster and we meet up with the team. And just in time too. Zatanna cast one of her spells and a huge dome appeared. There is no in or out of Gotham now. I can't believe that this is happening. Out of all the places it had to be Gotham! It's like everything bad happens in Gotham. I looked around and notice Batman wasn't there. There should be a easy way to cure everyone. There should be but how? I looked down at my feet as the dome was going to close.There is! And i know what it is.Me. I quickly ran up to green arrow and grabbed some arrow and then to Artemis to grabbed my bow. I too a deep breath and ran in. I landed on my feet. The dome close off behind me. I can to this. I took off my gloves and dropped them to my side and i did the same thing with the bow and arrows. I saw Zombies head my way. If i have the ability to heal someone than this should be the same thing. I had my hands out in-front of me and focused all my energy on the zombies. My hands started to glow light yellow. I moved my hand in a circle. I then broke the circle by lifting one hand and brought it closer to me. A yellow circle appeared near my feet and it got bigger until it turned into a flower. Then yellow butterfly's started to come out of it. It worked. I can't believe it. Now the hard part. I close my eyes and moved my hand in-front of me. I moved my right leg back a little. This has to work. It just has to. If it doesn't that means the world is going to be in trouble. This has to stop. It has to end. It has to end now here in Gotham.

Black Carney P.O.V.

I was worried for June. I couldn't see anything inside the dome so i don't know if she is ok or ...not . I saw as June ran inside before the dome closed off behind her. She was so dumb for doing that. I looked around to see that everyone else had a worried face. I then focused my attention back to the dome and I saw something. Something yellow glowing inside and it was strong. The glowing got so strong in off that we had to cover our eyes. We heard what sounded like shattering glass. I was right it was shattering glass because after we heard it little glass piece started to rain down from the sky. I didn't dare to look up. It took three minutes for the glass pieces to stop. I slowly looked up to see Batman carried June in his arms. I though the worst when i saw him. I ran up to them and i noticed that June had cuts on her face. Probably from the glass. But she was breathing and i relaxed a little.

June P.O.V.

I opened my eyes to see my dad and Black Carney looking at me.

"What?" i asked with a smile on my face as got out of my dad arms and stood up. Black Carney smiled at me but what really surprised me was that my dad the Batman was smiling too.

"Don't ever do that again." He said as he pulled me in for a hug. After a seconds of hugging i pulled away.

"Did it work?" i asked.

He nod. Good. But i never knew was able to do that. I mean i have healed people but little things like gun shots, cuts, stabs, but noting that huge. Robin, Artemis, and the girl which i need to ask her what her name is walked over to us. The only thing i knew about the girl was that her parents died trying to protect her and her sibling.
