I understand now why  he thought it was the best idea to have everyone think that I'm died. It's been three weeks since i got here and I've been training a lot! Like more then i ever trained before. I get it! Training  with the dark knight is hard. After what happened in the Hospital there has been reports outside the gates of the manor. They were all wonder who Bruce's Wayne "daughter" was. I still don't understand why he took me in. Whenever i turn on the T.V. there is some sort of channel  talking about Bruce Wayne's daughter and why he keep "me" a secret. Which is no secret i mean i have only been here for three weeks. They even think that I'm his biological daughter which I'm not. When Bruce and Richard  go out, i stay in Manor helping Alfred with the chores around the house.  I was fine with staying in the manor and helping Alfred, it keeps me busy. But today i finished early so i went to my bedroom.  I got out some blank sheet of paper and started to stretch. I didn't really know what i was drawing but i didn't really care at that time.

"What are you doing?"

I turned my head a little to see Richard stand there.

"Have you ever heard of knocking?"

He rounded his eyes.  "Bruce send me to tell you to get ready."

"For what?" I asked.

"The Charity Party."

"But I'm not going."

"Well, now you are so come on."

"Fine."

I got up from my chair and pushed him out of my room and closed the door. I got out some clothes and went to go take a shower.  After ten minutes  I was ready and walked out of my room and down the stairs.

~The party~

When I first stepped into that place  I saw a bunch of rich people. What was I thinking? I don't fit here with a bunch of Fancy people. I was wearing  some white gloves that Alfred made me wear because it went will with the black and white dress I was wearing. A man came up to us and behind him was a girl older than me.

"Commissioner," said Bruce

"Bruce, how are doing?"

"I'm fine and you?"

"Well...oh and is this your daughter?" he asked gesturing towards me.

"Yes, This is June. June this is commissioner Gordon."

I smiled and shook his hand.

"It a pleasure to meet you."

"Likewise."

In under maybe five minutes, I was surrounded by people asking my questions. I'm not going to lie it was scary. I even hide behind Richard. It took Bruce a couple of minutes to get everyone calmed.  Who knew that pretending to be a Wayne was this hard.

10 minutes later everyone calmed down and one woman came up to us. She smiled at me and I give her a weak smile in return.

"So Bruce everyone is wondering why you kept your daughter  a secret, " she asked as she started to play with my hair. Weird.  Everyone quieted down to hear what he had to say. I felt all eyes on us.

"He didn't know that I even existed until three months ago." I quickly said because Bruce could say anything. He  was taking  too long to answer. Just was true he didn't even know me.

"Why?" she asked.

"My mother, she  wanted  me to have a normal life you know without reporters and fancy stuff  so she left without telling my father about me."

"Oh, and why did she choose  to tell him now."

"Because she passed away three months ago and she wanted me to be safe so she sent me to my father," I said softly like if I was about to cry.  I heard lots of people say  poor kid. If they only knew the real truth.

"Oh, I'm sorry for your lost."

"Thank you," I whispered.

~In the limo~

I was looking out the widow.

"Did you come up with that right there?"

"Yep. Plus you guys were taking forever to answer so I had to come with something," I said as I looked out the widow.

"That was a good lie."

"It wasn't entirely a lie. You guys didn't know who I was until three months ago."

"True."

"By the way why June?" I asked as I focused my attention on them.

"It was the first thing that came into my head. And I didn't know your real name so I have to come up with something," said Richard.  "Plus it sounds good. June Wayne."

"Really I think it sounds weird."

"It doesn't."

"Well I think so," I said. And after a couple minutes later Richard  asked other question.

"Bruce why didn't you clear things up."

"What do you mean?" he asked.

"Why didn't you tell them that she wasn't really your daughter."

"Because she is now."

"WHAT?" Richard and I asked at the same time.

"I singed the paper a week ago. She is now   legally my adpotived daughter. "

"You didn't bother to tell us?!" Yelled Richard.
