Do You Love Wally?

Numb.   

I was shaking as i walked throw the streets of Gotham. Thanksgiving day is tomorrow. I'm already late for dinner. It's like 6:20 pm. It was raining too. And i wasn't wearing a sweater. Kara gladly let Wanda and Pietro stay with her. I owe her so much. I'm glad to call her my best friend. I ran towards the gates and opened them. I closed them and ran towards the Manor.  Please tell me that Dad not home.  I was soaking wet. Great. Water was dripping from my clothes. Note to self : Bring an umbrella  next time. Oh and check the weather before going out.  

"Miss June is that you?" asked Alfred as he came out of a room.

"Yes Alfred it's me."

"Miss you are wet."

"Yeah sorry about the floor." i said sheepishly.

"It is fine."

"No. I'll help you clean it." 

"You should change."

"Ok."

~~~~~~10 minutes later~~~~~~~

I walked out of my room. Some cleared their throat. I thought it was dad but when i turned around i saw Artemis standing there. 

"Oh Artemis. I thought you were someone else." 

"June I'm going to ask you something and i want you to answer it truthfully. "

"I can't make any promises."

"Do you like Wally?" she blurted out. I was taken back by the question. 

"I know that you guys have been hanging out together. And i care about Wally.  I don't want him get hurt. "

"Artemis,  me and Wally are friends. And even if do like him  more then a friend i would never think of hurting him. I can't believe you thought i would do such a thing." I walked pasted her and down the stairs.

"Well sorry for asking. But i just don't trust you."

That made me stop.  I looked up. 

"Will i can say the same about you." i said as i turned to face. " You might be Richard's Girlfriend now but i will never trust you with my life. "

"Why because of my history?" she asked.

"No."

"Then why?" she asked 

"Jealousy is a terrible disease. I hope you can get rid of it." i  said and started walking down stairs again.

"Well that a tragedy now." Came a voice from behind. I quickly turned. Lucy? What is she doing here? Artemis ran down stairs.  I froze.

"How did you get in here?" i asked  in a shaky voice. 

"I broke a widow."

Oh No. She brought friends. What ever happen with Joker and Harley? Why are they sending their daughter to do all the work for them. I ran down stairs.  But apparently i wasn't fast in off because Lucy caught me. We walked towards the kitchen. The whole time she pointed a gun my head. I can't do anything about it. The goons caught Artemis and throw her towards Richard.  She fell on top of him. I started to panic.   

"Get the little girl!" order Lucy. 

The goons walked towards Selina. I looked around and my eyes landed on the pan. It wasn't far way either. But if i made a move Lucy would shoot. And if it hits me. Then its lights out.  I glanced over to Selina. Dad was getting beaten up so badly.  June think. I heard Helena crying. They have her. Oh no. Should i make a move? But will i be fast in off to dodge the bullet. I will i guess we're going to find out. I moved and grabbed the pan. Lucy shot but missed.  I knocked the gun out of Lucy's hands using the pan.  With one swing i knocked her unconscious.  I quickly grabbed the gun from the ground.  And pointed it to the goons as i swung  the pan with my other hand. I cleared my throat.  The goons turned around. 

"Hand her back."  

"You won't shot little girl." i heard a voice from hide me. I knew that voice. Joker. I turned around. 

"Now if you don't want your family to get hurt lower the gun." 

I did lowered the gun. I chuckled to myself.

"What so funny?" he asked clear annoyed. 

"Nothing. Just this." I shot. I didn't kill him. I shot him in the leg. Father's rule is that he doesn't kill.  And i haven't killed him but i know that we're going to have a talk about this later. But that doesn't matter right now.

"How dare you do that to Mr.J" Said Harley  as she attacked me. Just like her daughter i knocked her unconscious with the pan.  Helena started to cry louder. I turned around. They we're injecting something.  Selina ended up hurting the goon.  Richard and Jason took on the other one.  We called the police and they took them away. Why did they want Helena?  What did they inject her with? I set the pan down on the table and walked towards Selina.

"Are you guys ok?" i asked them worried. 

"Yes. But we should take Helena to the hospital." said Selina as she grabbed her coat.

"That probably a good idea." i said.

They ran towards the limo and left. I hope Helena is ok. She has to be. But i know that not true. Joker wouldn't  have send Lucy here just to attack. There has to be a reason why. 

~~~~~~~~ 1 Hour later~~~~~~~~~~

I waited an hour. They haven't come back. Wanda word echoed through my head.  Was there really a war. Did my mother and sister join Stark's side? No. Andrea wouldn't do that to dad. But yet again. It's possible.  The door opened and i got up. 

"What happened? What did they say?" i asked them as they pasted by.

"Nothing."

"What?"

"They say she has nothing."

"W-what. But i saw them inject something in her. "

"We all did. But the doctors say it was nothing."

"But that does make sense. Why would Joker send Lucy to inject nothing in Helena.

"I'm guessing that he wanted to scare us." answered Artemis. 

So Helena is safe.

 Or so we thought. 

The next few days were hard. 

Helena was growing bigger  everyday.  She could be a 1 year old one day and next day she 5 years old. This isn't normal. Every night i would sing to her.  When she's sleeping i would use my healing  powers on her. At first i wasn't sure if it was going to work on her. It did. Well it stopped the ageing a little bit.  I pulled the sheets over her and was about to turn off the light. When Helena spoke. 

"June?" i turned to face her. It's amazing how she already  knows how to speak. I'm guessing it's because of the ageing. 

"Yes?"

"You remember when you  promised that you will never let  anything bad  happen to me right."

"Yes." How does she remember that? She was a baby when i told her that. 

"You will never break that promise right."

"I never break my promises. Especially if that person is you. I will always protect you."  

She smiled at me and struggled closer to me. I wrapped arm around her.

 I will always keep that promise.
