She neither hated nor was complaining about Ser Erryk's suicide and he managed to save her from death that same night. And he managed to save her beloved daughters who she at the same time managed to get out of the room to get to safety and get help. She also felt sorry for Ser Arryk who was persuaded to commit a terrible and treacherous act by a Kingsguard. Now several Kingsguard have been killed by both the Royal House and the crowds. Rhaenyra knows for sure that Aelora will not be so happy about this and Rhaenyra probably thinks like anyone else about this matter if all the guards around them are safe and trust them. Rhaenyra has several suspects in her head, but she couldn't help but think over and over again if this has something to do with Alicent. Should she send someone after her anyway. The leader was quite clumsy and wonders if this foolish act was desperate or a warning to stay vigilant. But Rhaenyra has no evidence that it was her at all. Princess Rhaenyra had ordered and brought both Cargyll brothers to the crypt and was prepared to travel home to her loved ones. She stood outside the castlegate with the sept's sisters preparing the brothers for their journey home. Out of nowhere, Princess Rhaenys entered the place and surprised her.

"Rhaenys? When and how did you get here?" Rhaenyra asked as she spotted her coming in.
"I arrived quite recently on dragonback. Baela and Rhaena came with me too. They have been longing for their cousins and siblings. And we were worried about you, and Baela couldn't stand with the thought of leaving Moondancer behind." Rhaenys said and Rhaenyra stood silently, looking again at the bodies of her brothers.
"This is a sight of sorrow. An unnecessary fall that even Aelora would think if she had seen this." Rhaenys said.
"She would never have let this happen." Rhaenyra said.
"No one would have dared to make this attack if she were here. When the cat is gone, the rats dance out of their holes and do their thing." Rhaenys pointed out.
"If only the cat could return home."
"The Queen is taking care of other rats for the time being in the Riverlands and saving her people."
