No One's POV

The Intelligence bullpen had seen chaos before - shootings, raids, undercover disasters - but nothing prepared them for the moment the entire Walker family stepped into the room.

Alejandro and Mateo were already causing enough noise with their sibling banter and cookie‑based warfare.

But when Captain Rafael Walker and Attorney Isabella Walker walked in behind them, the atmosphere shifted from chaotic to legendary.

Rafael carried himself like a man who'd commanded rooms his entire life - tall, broad‑shouldered, voice deep enough to silence rookies from across a hallway.

Isabella was the opposite kind of intimidating - elegant, sharp‑eyed, dressed like she walked out of a courtroom victory. Her presence alone could make grown men rethink their life choices.

Voight stepped forward, trying to regain control of his own unit.

"Captain Walker," he said, extending a hand.

Rafael shook it firmly. "Voight. Heard a lot about you."

Voight raised an eyebrow. "Good things, I hope."

Rafael smirked. "Depends who you ask."

Mateo whispered loudly, "He means Mom."

Isabella shot him a look. "I heard that."

The team tried - and failed - not to laugh.

⭐ Samantha's POV

I crossed my arms, staring at my family like they'd just walked into my classroom on career day.

"What are you all doing here?" I asked.

Mom answered first. "A serial killer recreating an erased Ancient Egyptian legend? You think we'd stay in Texas?"

Dad added, "We're here to help. And to make sure you three don't get yourselves killed."

Alejandro grinned. "We make no promises."

Mateo nodded. "Zero."

I elbowed both of them. "Behave."

They elbowed me back.

Voight watched the three of us with a look that said he was already exhausted.

---

⭐ The Case Briefing - No One's POV

Voight gathered everyone around the board again.

"Alright," he said, "let's get back on track."

He pointed to the ritual symbols. "We know the killer is recreating the legend of Nefara. We know they're following the steps of the ritual."

Samantha stepped forward. "And we know they're escalating."

Alejandro added, "The symbols at the last scene weren't just decorative. They were instructions."

Mateo nodded. "A puzzle. A map."

Rafael crossed his arms. "Show us."

Samantha grabbed a marker and circled a cluster of hieroglyphs.

"These symbols," she said, "aren't random. They're coordinates."

Burgess blinked. "Coordinates to what?"

Mateo grinned. "The next ritual site."

Ruzek muttered, "Of course it is."

---

⭐ The Language Shift - Walker Triplets POV

The three of us leaned over the board, switching into Ancient Egyptian without thinking.

Alejandro: "ꜥnḫ... this symbol is life."

Mateo: "But paired with this one? It means rebirth."

Me: "And this-this is a directional marker. East. Toward water."

Alejandro: "Combine them and-"

Mateo: "-you get a location."

We turned back to the team.

Ruzek whispered, "I swear they're casting spells."

Atwater whispered, "I'm not convinced they're not."

Voight didn't say anything.

But he watched me.

Always me.

⭐ Parents Join the Analysis - No One's POV

Isabella stepped forward, adjusting her glasses. "These symbols... they're not just ritualistic. They're legalistic."

The room blinked.

"Legalistic?" Burgess asked.

Isabella nodded. "Ancient Egyptian rituals were contracts. Binding agreements with gods. Every symbol is a clause."

Rafael added, "And every clause has a consequence."

Voight raised an eyebrow. "Meaning?"

Samantha answered, "Meaning the killer isn't just recreating a ritual."

Alejandro continued, "They're trying to complete it."

Mateo finished, "Something Nefara never did."

The room went still.

---

⭐ Sibling Chaos - Samantha's POV

Mateo reached into the cookie bag again.

I slapped his hand. "Those are for after the briefing."

He slapped mine back. "You're not the boss of cookies."

Alejandro stole one while we were distracted.

I glared. "Give it back."

"Nope."

I lunged for it.

He dodged.

Mateo cheered, "Fight! Fight! Fight!"

Dad sighed. "You three are adults. Act like it."

Mom added, "At least pretend."

Voight pinched the bridge of his nose.

Ruzek whispered, "This is the best day of my life."

---

⭐ The Next Clue - No One's POV

Samantha finally got the cookie back and took her place beside Voight.

She pointed to the coordinates the triplets decoded.

"This location," she said, "isn't random."

Voight leaned in. "Where is it?"

Samantha circled the spot.

"A museum storage facility," she said. "One that houses artifacts from the same dynasty Nefara belonged to."

Alejandro added, "Including the sarcophagus of Amun‑Setekh."

Mateo finished, "And the unfinished burial mask of Nefara."

Voight's jaw tightened. "You're telling me the killer is heading there."

Samantha nodded. "Yes."

Rafael stepped forward. "Then we're going with you."

Isabella crossed her arms. "All of us."

Voight looked at the entire Walker family.

Then at Samantha.

Then back at the family.

He exhaled.

"Fine," he said. "But you follow my lead."

All three triplets said at once:

"No promises."
