Chapter 21

Dhruv for a moment didnt move, then slowly he set his guitar down and stepped off the stage, as he made his way through the crowd until he stood infront of them

Dhruv- manik? Cabir?
His voice was hoarse

They didn't reply
They just stared

Dhruv- I know I did wrong, I mess up, I hurt you all.. I'm sorry guys

Mukti- really? After all you did?

Dhruv swallowed hard- I'm paying for what I had did, I am sorry for everything, I'm sorry for hurting nandini and mukti, I was blind....... I thought alya was right

Some people started whispering. "Isn't that manik malhotra? "Wasn't he dead? "Fab 5?

But none heard them

No one said anything , dhruv made his way back to the stage , whereas manik and others went to the counter but seeing dhruv they couldn't stay. So they just went back home

Soon all get into their car and left to their home. The air was filled with silence, and none broke it

As soon as they reached home they were welcome by a sound most likely a song, it wasn't the TV. They followed the sound and it led them to the music room

There in the center of the room was the twins namik and manvi, behind them was rishab, aryaman and Maddy

Aryaman was on the drum, the twins shared a microphone, rishab on the piano, and Maddy on the guitar

Neither of them was aware they had audience

The twins concluded with the words- aur phir aasman yaad karta hai un vaadon ko jo hum bhool gaye the.

Manik breath hitched, he didnt step forward until he heard those words. It was his song, his lyrics which was incomplete and his children voice made it sound so beautiful

He clapped ,followed by everyone which broke the band from their singing session

The sound of clapping echoed in the room, and the twins bolted and launch themselves on him, they wrapped their arms around their waist

Namik- papa, how was it? You remember this song? The one you left incomplete, mama finished it and we will be performing it
He grinned

Manvi- but not fair, it was supposed to be surprise

Just then they heard a whistle and look up to see it was cabir

Cabir- waah just like their father, that was great

Manvi- really
She asked excitedly making all chuckle

Manik had tears in his eyes still, he dropped to his knees, pulling them fully into his embrace, burying his face in their hair as he let out a shaky breath.

Manik."Perfect... you two were perfect."

Manvi giggled, brushing away one of his tears with her tiny thumb.

Manvi"Papa, don't cry... we didn't sing that bad."
