Oh my god! Look it's an update. Crazy, right? I'm not even sure if people even still read this.
The past week or two I've just felt so bad for Jaiden. She must have gotten a stomach bug or something, each morning I wake up hearing her vomit into the toilet. Today was no different.
I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom holding her hair back and rubbing her back sympathetically.
She flushed the toilet and stood up.
"Go climb back into bed and I'll make you some soup."
"Thank you, Lukey." She said walking back to our room.
"Anytime pumpkin."
I tucked her into bed before walking to the kitchen to start making some soup.
I peek in on her while making it and smile when I see her fast asleep. I walk over pulling the blanket down from over her head. She always seemed to do that in her sleep. I kissed her head and tucked some stray pieces of hair behind her ear.
"God you're so beautiful."
"I'm so lucky to have such a wonderful girl."
"Always so caring and understanding."
"Ugh, I hate knowing you don't feel well."
"I just want you to feel better."
I mumbled to myself before leaning down to kiss her head once more and then went back to the kitchen to stir the soup.
I finished the soup and poured some into a bowl and walked to the bedroom.
"Wake up Sleeping Beauty." I softly sang.
She peeked an eye open before slowly sitting up and rubbing her eye as she tiredly stretched and I sat next to her.
"I made your favorite." I smile.
"Sweetie, you didn't have to." She smiled.
"I know but I wanted to. Anything to make my princess feel better." I say kissing her temple and blowing on the soup to cool it off before feeding it to her.
"How did I ever get so lucky?" She smiles eating it.
"I often ask myself the same question." I chuckle.
She giggled causing me to smile even more. Her giggle always brought me such happiness. Who am I kidding? She brings me happiness. The way she smiles, laughs, the way she tilts her head a bit when she doesn't understand something, the way she cuddles as close to me as she can when she sleeps and pulls the blanket over us even though it suffocates us sometimes. I love the way she randomly sings in the middle of her sentences sometimes, the way she cares so much about me when I definitely don't deserve her, I just―
"LUKE!"
"Huh? What?" I say snapping out of my thoughts.
"You're trying to feed me air." She giggled.
I looked down at the empty bowl and chuckled.
"What were you thinking about baby?"
"Just how much I love you" I smiled and pecked her cheek.
"Awe, baby!" She squealed blushing and trying to hide her red cheeks behind her small dainty hands.
I chuckle pulling them down.
"Don't hide beautiful." I smile setting the empty bowl on the table and kiss her.
So this was basically just a filler. A new chapter will be up shortly. I just wanted a little cute fluff from Luke's POV.
