Days Later

Peyton's POV

Greyson let go of Liz and she sniffled. "I love you Greyson. Be careful."

"Okay mom. I love you too." He pecked her cheek. Rosie was attached to his leg and he chuckled. "Ro, I have to leave."

"No! You're the only one that would play with me! Don't leave me Grey!" She cried.

"Hey hey," He crouched down to her level, "I'll be back soon. Here." He pulled out a box from his carry on and gave it to her. She opened it and took out the necklace. She put the dog tag necklace on and hugged him. "I love you Rosie." He wiped her tears, kissing her cheek.

"I love you too." She let him go and walked away with Liz. He stood and pulled me in his arms.

"Don't cry love." I hadn't noticed I was crying.

"I can't help it. The love of my life is going to America for four years." I nuzzled my face in his neck.

"I promise. I'll be home soon." I took a deep breath, enjoying the scent on his shirt. He chuckled, "There'll be a surprise for you when you get home."

"What kind of surprise?" I looked up at him.

"You'll see love." He wiped my tears. "I'll miss you."

"I'll miss you more." I laid my head on his shoulder.

The intercom went off and I held onto him tighter, "I love you Peyton."

"I love you too Greyson." I smiled.

"Can you promise me something?" He nodded, "Never forget me." He pulled my chin up and kissed me slowly. I kissed back my tears flowing freely down my cheeks. He pulled me closer, cupping my cheek. He pulled away, resting his forehead to mine. Even in the saddest moments, his kiss manages to put me on cloud nine.

"I could never." I smiled. "I have to go." I nodded. He pecked my lips a few times and wiped my tears. "I love you."

"I love you too." He let me go and walked to his gate. I sniffled and watched him enter the tunnel.

"It'll be okay love." Liz grabbed my hand and I looked at my Vans he got me for my birthday last year. "Would you like me to take you home?"

"Please?" She nodded and Rosie grabbed my other hand. We walked back to the car and got in. She carried me home. "Thank you."

"No problem love. If you ever need anything you can come talk to me." I smiled, nodding. I got out and pecked her cheek.

"See you soon." She left and I walked inside. "Hello."

"Hi." I sat beside my mom.

"Where's Logan?" I laid my head on her shoulder.

"I'm here. Are you okay?" I nodded and smiled at the girl behind him. "Peyton this is Jade. Jade that's my sister Peyton."

"Hi!" I got up and tried to hug her, getting stopped by a baby bump. "Oh you're pregnant?" She nodded smiling.

"It's mine." Logan put a hand on her stomach and my eyes widened. Logan chuckled, "We were drunk."

"Well congratulations." I smiled. "How far?"

"Going on two months." She smiled. "I have an appointment tomorrow."

"Girl or boy?" I led her to the couch and we sat down.

"Boy." I smiled.

"I get a little nephew. Have you thought of his name?"

"James. I figured he should have part of his father's name even if it wasn't the last name." She chuckled, looking down. I looked up at Logan who wasn't there. "Would you like to come with Logan and I tomorrow?"

"Oh no. I don't want to intrude." I smiled, watching my brother come back down the steps. My phone buzzed and I got up. "Excuse me. I'm sorry." I ran upstairs and into my dark room. "Hi babe."

"Hey princess. Have you seen your surprise?"

"No. Where is it?" I walked over to my bay window, looking out.

"Go to your room."

"I'm in my room. It's dark though."

"Turn on the lights." I walked to the light switch and flicked it on. I gasped at the sight of the teddy bears, flowers, and pictures. "Surprise."

Tears filled my eyes and I walked over to my bed. "When?"

"Last night while you were asleep."

"What's in the box?"

"Open it." I put my phone on speaker and put it down beside me. I took the top off the big box and my nose was met with a familiar scent that I loved. I smiled, pulling out sweatshirts, t-shirts, beanies, and snapbacks.

"You remembered?"

"Yeah. And if they start to lose the scent I put the bottle in there." I smiled and took the black bottle of cologne out. "There's one last thing. Go to your closet." I picked up my phone and walked to my closet. I walked in and saw a big teddy bear in the corner. He was wearing nerd glasses and a beanie.

"His name is Grey." I giggled looking at him.

"There's a button on the heart on his chest. Push it." I pushed the button.

"I love you beautiful." Greyson's voice flowed through the speaker, tears flowing down my cheeks.

"Ugh, I just stopped crying and you make me cry again. I love you too." I looked at the bear, smiling. My smile widened when I noticed something on his paw. I looked closer. "Babe?"

"Yeah?"

"Did you really get a wedding band stitched on the bear? We haven't had the wedding yet." I ran my thumb over the embroidered ring.

"I know but I can't wait." I giggled.

"Well I'm actually going to go pick your ring out tomorrow."

"I thought we were waiting until after Uni?" I could hear the smile in his voice.

"I might shorten it." I smiled, checking the time. I yawned.

"Go to sleep babe."

"No! I want to talk to you. I'm not e-" I was interrupted by a yawn, "Not even tired." He chuckled.

"Goodnight love."
