Peyton's POV
"Okay!" I giggled and they all stepped away. I glanced out the window and noticed Greyson pulling up. "Bye!" I got up and walked downstairs. Logan came out of the kitchen with Lou and the guys all stared at me. I ruffled Logan's freshly cut curls and Luke jumped up.
"Where are you going? Who are you going with? What time are you coming back? You need a jacket."
"Luke! Chill out. I'm going on a date, with my boyfriend, I'll be back by midnight or earlier. And relax I'll be fine. You're starting to sound like my dad."
"Hey!" I looked over Luke's shoulder and blew my dad a kiss. He smiled and wrapped an arm around my mom.
"You never mentioned a boyfriend. Liam she's not supposed to have a boyfriend!" I rolled my eyes and turned walking out as he continued his rant.
"Bye!" I closed the door and walked to Greyson's car. I got in and he pecked my cheek.
"Hey gorgeous." I blushed and smiled, buckling up.
"Hi. I would've been out here sooner but Luke was being overprotective. Speaking of which, don't be surprised if he watches us when you drop me off." He chuckled and we left. "How's your leg?"
"Doesn't hurt as much but this cast is heavy. Did you and Logan work things out? You seemed pretty pissed when I dropped you off." I nodded.
"Yeah. So where are we going?" I smiled at him and he grabbed my hand pressing a soft kiss to it.
"It's a surprise." I huffed, pouting and he chuckled. "Don't worry. It won't seem that romantic at first but I promise you'll love it." He pulled up to IHOP and I looked at him. "Don't say anything. Close your eyes and grab my arm." We got out and I heard his crutches as he came to my side. I latched onto his arm and walked slowly. "Open." I opened my eyes revealing the candles on each table and a bouquet of white roses on a center table. The lights were off, the entire restaurant being illuminated by candlelight.
"It's beautiful." I smiled and pecked his lips. We walked over to the table and sat down. I picked up the roses and looked at the note attached.
'The normal cliche with a slight twist. White over red, for a beautiful girl just like this.
~GreysonI flipped over the card revealing an off guard picture of me. I smiled and looked up at him, putting the card in my clutch. "Everything was done by me. I did the calligraphy on the card, I cooked the food, and I decorated the whole place last night. Then I ruined it and broke my leg trying to put up the curtains and fell. I remembered how upset you were when we almost got mobbed on our first date." He grabbed my hands across the table. "I wanted everything to be perfect."
"You're so sweet. I love y-" I stopped the word from slipping past my lips and quickly covered it. "I love your dedication. You went through all of this for me." I blushed lightly at my lame cover up and looked down. A waiter came over with two plates of pasta and I smiled.
We ate in comfortable silence until he spoke up. "In continuation of our conversation from our first date, is there anything else I don't know about you?"
"You mean other than the fact I'm in love with your food?" I giggled and looked at my lap. "Not really. I think I've told you almost everything. But I'd still like to know more about you while I think."
~Hour and A Half Later~
Greyson and I walked back to the car and got in. "That was great. I had no idea you were such a good cook."
