Peyton's POV

I rejected yet another call from Greyson and sipped my hot chocolate. I was with Amira and Lucy at my parents' house. "Peyton you can't ignore him forever."

"Why not?" I looked at Lucy.

"Well," She exchanged a look with Amira. "I don't know! You just can't. It's not fair to him."

"Lucas talked to him and Pey I can honestly tell you he loves you. He was devastated. He beat up his roommate." Mimi put down her pencil and looked at me.

"Look. I never said anything okay?" I looked at my calculus book.

"We just-"

"Just forget it! I will forgive him eventually, I'll talk to him sooner or later, and I might just put the ring back on just please." I closed my book and shoved it in my bag. "Besides it's not like we actually broke up. I just called off the wedding." I shook my head and grabbed my phone.

"Okay. Sorry." I looked at Mimi.

"It's fine. You're right. I should talk to him." I looked at the messages coming in from Greyson. "I'm gonna call him." They smiled, glancing at each other. I got up and walked out. My parents were asleep on the couch with Aubrey so I went outside. I dialed his number and waited.

"Hello?" Greyson's deep voice was raspy.

"Hi. Did I wake you?" I sat on the swing.

"Oh uh yeah but it's fine." I bit my lip. I heard him sniffle and Ethan's voice in the background. "Yes Ethan now shut up!"

"Calm down babe." I giggled softly. I pulled the phone away from my ear and switched to FaceTime. "I'm looking in your ear." He pulled the phone back and I smiled. His eyes were bloodshot and puffy, his lip busted.

"You look like you've barely slept." I nodded.

"Ditto. It's pretty hard to sleep when you can't stop thinking about the love of your life cheating on you." I bit my lip, looking down and blinking back the tears.

"Peyton. I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to. I was drunk and I missed you." I looked at him.

"It's fine. It's upsetting and heartbreaking but I'm okay. I forgive you." He smiled. "But about the wedding." His smile dropped. "I don't know if we should get married."

"Baby girl why?"

"I mean," I held back the tears. "You did it once, who's to say you won't cheat again?"

Greyson's POV

I held back the tears. She thought I would make the same mistake again. "I should go finish my homework. I'll talk to you later?"

"Yeah. Uh, okay. I love you."

"I love you too." She hung up and I sighed.

"I'm sorry man. This is my fault." Ethan pat my shoulder.

"No. It's mine." The tears fell and I made a phone call.

"Hello?"

"Hey uhm, I'll see you in a bit." I sniffled, looking at my sneakers.

"I'll meet you at the airport." She hung up and I shoved my phone in my pocket. I grabbed my suitcase and got up. I had planned to surprise Peyton and attempt to win her back.

"Can I tag along? I want to help you get her back." I nodded.

Hours Later

I walked out of the airport. "Hi." My mom stood there with my little sister. I hugged her, crying silently. "It's okay." We walked to the car. Rosie grabbed my hand and we got in. We went back home and I looked at my little sister asleep on Ethan's shoulder.
