Maddie's leaving

Maddie's pov:

I've had a great time on the boat but I have to leave. I wish I could go to school with them here but I can't... I said bye to everyone but zack and Mr. Moseby. "I'll miss you zack... I'm so proud of everything that you've accomplished..." "I'm gonna miss you too.... especially seeing your beautiful face everywhere..." he said. "Oh zack... you always did know how to flatter me..." "you deserve a guy who will flatter you every minute of everyday..." he said. I looked at him and kissed his cheek. "Well bye Mr. Moseby... I'm gonna miss you..." "I'm gonna miss you too maddie..." he said.

Zack's pov:

I didn't want maddie to go. I just got her back... "Mr. Moseby... why can't let maddie stay and go to school here... she is like a daughter to you..." "If I did that, then I would have to do that for everybody..." he said. "What if she worked here... I could hire her at the smoothe bar... she can go to school here and share a room with london and bailey... they have enough room for an extra bed..." "zack.... you don't need to do this..." maddie said. "Yes I do.... please Mr. Moseby... I can show her the ropes and give her a few jobs to help pay for everything..." "hmmm.... very well... don't disappoint me madeline..." he said. "Thank you! I promise you I won't!" Maddie said excitedly. Mr. Moseby went to go take care of some things and maddie turned around and looked at me. God I love when she looks at me... "thank you so much zack..." she said. "Hey, I told you I would do anything for you..." she hugged me and I could smell her apple scented shampoo. I could feel my eyes roll back at the touch of her soft hands on my back. She released the hug and went to go tell the others. I went to the sky deck and saw bailey at the end looking at the ocean. "Hey bailey. Whats up?" "Hey zack... I'm just thinking..." she said. "You okay?" "Yeah.... I am... actually I'm not...." she said. "What's wrong..." "I don't really talk about these things with guys... but you're cody's brother and you know him more than anyone..." she said. "Bailey... what's wrong..." "I'm scared.... cody and I have been in this relationship for almost 7 months and I feel that I have to give him more than just dates and kisses..." she said. What she said sort of shocked me. I didn't think bailey could trust me with this stuff especially since I'm a guy who has sex pretty much everyday. "Bailey... my brother is a great guy who loves you so much... he doesn't care about sex, he cares about you... he would never ask for it, and he most definitely would never make you do anything you didn't want to do." "You're right zack... thank you..." she said. "No problem..." we hugged and she went to her dorm. Maddie showed up behind me. "Hey zack." She said. "Hey sweet thang." "That never gets old..." she said. "So... are you ready for your first shift?" "I was born ready..." she said. "Ok, first, if I was a costumer what would you say?" "I would say... hello welcome to the smoothe bar, what can I get you?" She said cutely. "That was pretty good... ok now how do you work the machines... here is your first costumer... lets see how you do." "Hello welcome to the smoothe bar... what can I get you?" She said. "Can I have a blueberry blast please?" The costumer said. "Coming right up." Maddie said. She got the blue cup and pressed the button without pulling the lever... "maddie you forgot the....." blueberry juice sprayed everywhere soaking the employees and the costumer... "lever...." "omggg....." she said. "Ma'am I'm so sorry... how about I get you another smoothe on the house..." I gave her another smoothe and I directed her to cody giving the towels. "I'm such an idiot... just fire me now...." maddie said while sliding down on the floor and sitting in the juice. I sat next to her and just stared at her. I was kind of mad... I don't know why... "maddie look at me... you are not an idiot... you are the smartest person I've ever met... maybe smoothes are not your thing..." I said while wiping juice off her face with a towel. "Thanks zack... but if I can't find another job, then I can't stay here..." she said. She got up and went to go clean up. I sat there thinking of what job she can get. And an idea popped into my head. I'm going to build her a candy counter stand... I went to Mr. Moseby's office after I cleaned up to ask him. "So what do you think?" "You really like her don't you..." he said. "More than anything." "Ok I'll allow it... start now and I will have the candy ordered by tomorrow." He said. "Thank you!" I said as I kissed his cheek. "Do that again and I will have to throw you overboard!" He said. "Sorry..." I ran to the sky deck and tried to look for a place and I decided to put it in the lobby... I grabbed the equipment and started to build the desk. I finished the body and I looked at my watch, it was 12am... Moseby looked at me... "zack you need to sleep..." he said. "No... not till I finish..." I grabbed the counter and laid it out. I put some cement glue on the body of the counter and carried the counter top and placed it on. After that I finished the shelves and grabbed some coffee waiting for the glue to dry. I looked at my watch it was 5 am. The counter dried and someone came on board. By a helicopter. He brought the candy and I signed the papers releasing the candy and started stocking them just how maddie liked it. After that Mr. Moseby came downstairs to start work at 7am and he was shocked to know that I was still up... "zack... what are you doing still up you have school in 30 minutes..." he said. "I finally finished... and I'm fine..." I went upstairs to get ready and grabbed some coffee. I got to class and I crashed on my desk. Maddie started to wake me up. "What did I miss?" "The entire school day...." she said. "Whatever... cody can explain to me..." "same old zack..." she said while laughing. "Maddie... I have a suprise for you...." "what is it?" She said. I took her hand and made her close her eyes. I guided her to the lobby and I let go of her hand. "Ok... open your eyes..." she opened her eyes and gasped... "zack.... did... did you do all this... for me...?" She said. "Of course I did... I told you I would do anything for you..." she hugged me and started her shift. I went upstairs to do my homework and took a nap before I head to the nursery.
