The aftermath

Maddie's pov:

After the storm happened people were helping out with the injured. Others were cleaning and engineers were fixing the reck. Because they needed to fix the deck we have to dock in paris. They gave us hotel rooms and roommates. We got to choose so me, london, woody, marcus, cody, bailey, zack, and bree, are all sharing a hotel room. The captain said it would probably take a night to reach paris, so we have to sleep in our rooms tonight. Zack, bree and her guy friends were hanging out in Zack's room so everyone else decided to hang out in the neptune lounge. I felt bad so I went to go call zack and his friends. I reached his room and knocked on the door. "Well hello..." one of bree's friends said. "Hi... is zack here?" "No zack and bree went to talk on the sky deck." He said. "K thanks." "Wait... what's your name?" He asked. "Maddie." "Oh your the famous maddie..." he said. "Your way hotter in person." He added. "Thanks..." "why don't you come in?" He asked. "No thanks." He walked out of the dorm and closed the door behind him and faced me. "Come on..." he said getting closer to me and leaning towards me. "Stop! Get off of me" "hey!!!" Zack yelled. "Get off of her!" He grabbed the guy and pushed him against the wall and punched her in the face. "What's your problem dude? We were having fun!" He said. "She said no fucktard!" Zack yelled. The guy walked off and bree left.

Zack's pov:

I walked into my room and told everyone to leave. Maddie followed me in and I walked back and forth. "Zack.... calm down... it's ok..." she said. "No! It's not okay! He tried to......" I stopped. I didn't know how to make the words come out. She just looked at me with her diamond eyes and waited for my response. "He tried to rape you maddie.... he tried to... touch you... without your permission.... that sick bastard is gonna pay for it!" I tried to walk out the door to kill the bastard but maddie stopped me. She pulled me into a hug and I just cried on her shoulder. "Hey... shhhhhh... it's going to be okay... I'm okay... because I know that you'll take care of me... you always did..." she said. I stopped crying and we went to the neptune lounge. We told the others what happened and they were furious. After that we went back to my cabin and played truth or dare. I went first. "Marcus truth or dare." "Dare." He said. "I dare you to kiss london..." he grabbed london and kissed her. She totally loves him. "Bailey truth or dare." London said. "Truth." Bailey said. "Who was your first true love..." she said. "Cody..." bailey said blushing. "Awwwww." Cody said while kissing her. I threw a pillow at them. "Get a room!" "Zack truth or dare." Bailey said. "Dare." "I dare you to kiss the prettiest girl here..." she said. That moment everything felt rushed. I grabbed bree by the waist and kissed her passionately. Only took look up and realize that it wasn't bree... it was maddie.... we ended the kiss and maddie was in utter shock. I looked over to bree and tears were forming in her eyes. She ran out the room and I followed her. "Bree! Wait!" "Zack... stop. Stop trying to fix this situation. I see the way you look at her... the way that I wished you would look at me... you love her..." she said. "Bree..." "zack I kept on trying to tell myself that it isn't true... but whenever she's around you get a huge smile on your face. Do you love her?" She asked. "Bree... I..." "do you love her?" She asked again. "Yes...." "then go to her... be with the girl you really love... I want you to be happy..." she said. "Thank you...." we hugged and I walked to my room but I was afraid of what would happen. Everyone stared at me and maddie insisted that it never happened. Which hurt. A lot.... we just acted normal and watched a movie until they left and I went to sleep. I woke up bright and early to start on fixing the ship. I set up boards with some other workers and started to build. I took off my shirt and london whistled by the juice bar. I walked over to her and sat next to her. "Why are you awake?" "I couldn't sleep. Besides I need to talk to you." She said. "About what?" "About maddie..." she said. "Look you two are perfect for each other. I know you love her..." she said. "I do love her. But maddie only sees me as a kid. And what about you and marcus.... you two clearly love each other." "Well.... that's not the issue..." she said. She got a little embarrassed and walked back to her room. I finished my part of the ship and I went to go pack somethings for the hotel room in paris. After everyone woke up, we walked to the hotel and went to a dinner and a movie. We decided to do some sight seeing of Paris and it got really cold. I noticed that maddie was shivering so I took off my jacket and placed it on her. She thanked me and we walked some more. We reached the effiel tower and took some pictures to send to our families. They went inside a shop and I stayed and looked at the ocean on the bridge. I took out a some piece of paper and wrote down a wish.... a wish of being with maddie. I crumbled it up and I threw it in the ocean. Knowning fully well that wishes don't come true. But it was the thought, the idea that really matter. The fact that this girl, this beautiful girl, this ray of sunshine could make me fall in love with her just by looking at her beautiful eyes. God I love paris. The city of love.
