I start to walk down the hall, keeping my head low. Belle and I are walking to the auditorium for the assembly about Mr.Marks. With every step I feel more sick to my stomach. If I tried to puke, I don't think anything would come out.
Thankfully Corey had the same group as us for it, us being group B. I feel a hand grab my shoulder and I turn to see his face. I breathe a sigh of relief.
"We'll both be here the entire time." He states with a plain look on his face. All I could do was nod my head in gratitude since I was holding back tears.
We entered into the large room and found seats for all of us, with Corey on my right and Belle on my left. The room was filled with endless conversation amongst the students. I felt my chest tighten and I started to take very shaky deep breaths. Both Corey and Belle immediately tried to comforts me, but it wasn't very helpful.
After about twenty minutes, our principal walked on stage and the room went quiet.
"Good morning everyone," she starts with a small smile on her face. "I don't mean to be blunt, but I'm here to address important matters. As far as I know, everyone here knows what happened. A teacher had tried to sexually assault one of our students here."
At here last sentence I felt a tear slip down my cheek and I wipe it away, trying to hold back the others that want to escape.
"We will not release the name of the student that was involved. The reason I have called this assembly is because I want to assure you, we will do everything in our power to make sure nothing like this happens again."
I don't even hear the rest of her speech. I stand up on my weak legs and run out of the auditorium. Tears streaming down my face and clouding my vision, I run to the nearest bathroom and place my back against the wall as I slowly slide down the wall until I'm sitting on the floor. I then bring my legs to my chest and hide my face while I sob.
The next thing I know I hear quick footsteps approaching me, and I lift my head and wipe my tears, expecting to see Belle and Corey.
But to my surprise, it wasn't them. It was the black figure that tried to attack me the one day.
My heart shot up into my throat and I couldn't breathe. The figure started to approach me every so slowly. I scramble up to my feet, clutching the wall just as the figure stands in front of me.
"What do you want?" I ask it timidly, fear paralyzing my entire body. The figure tilted its head to the side, as if confused.
"I said, what do you want?!" I yell this time, feeling more in control of my body now.
"You." And it lunges for me.
I leap to the side as the figures collides with the wall and groans in pain. I run out of the bathroom, trying to find ways to escape this person. I look behind me and the person had just exited the bathroom and started to run after me, quickly catching up. A scream escaped my lungs as I tried to will my legs to go faster. I turned a corner and stopped for a moment, trying to catch my breath.
Where can I go? Where?!
My thoughts scream. I then see a janitors closet and I run to it, finding that it was unlocked and swing it open. I slam the door shut and I look around the closet to see what I could use to block the door. I spot a large box and I run over to it, pushing it to the door.
It was extremely heavy, as if I was pushing a refrigerator. I almost have it against the door, before it swings open and the persons hand has a hold of my wrist. The heavy box was blocking the door from being opened more than a couple inches, but this person is trying to squeeze me through the small space.
"Let- me- go!" I yell and I bite the persons hand. The person yells in pain and withdraws their hand. I slam the door once more and with the adrenaline pumping through me, I was able to push the rest of the box against the door before the person could try to get in. I then fall the floor from exhaustion, hearing the person pounding on the door and turning the knob, trying open the door. The person then screams in frustration and I cringe in terror.
I then hear the sound of footsteps leaving quickly and new ones coming closer.
"Zelda?! Zelda are you in there?!" I hear Belle's voice on the other side of the door and the pounding of fists against it.
"I'm in here," I reply just loud enough for her to hear me.
"Corey is here too. Unblock the door!"
I stand up and approach the giant box, and using what is left of my energy to move the box just enough for them to get through the door. Belle then leaps through the opening and throws herself on to me, hugging the life out of me.
"Zelda what the fuck happened?!" Corey questions in a shocked tone.
"I was attacked by a black figure." I answer shakily. He puts a hand to his face and Belle hugs he tighter.
"We saw someone dressed in all black banging on the door. The moment we came around the corner the person bolted. Do you know who it is and why they are after you?" Belle asks worriedly, moving my hair out of my face.
"I-I don't know who it is or what that want. This isn't the first time I have seen this person." I admit to them. The anxious looks on their faces only grew more anxious.
"Hey... Guys I-I don't feel too good," I tell them as all the energy in my body escaped and I felt myself drop to the floor, blackness overwhelming everything.
The last thing I hear is Belle and Corey screaming my name.
