Reaction: Because Ash is really similar to Ritchie, so yeah. AdvanceClone. I don't ship it, but someone in the world does. Maybe a person who ships this likes other Ash ships but still doesn't like Contestshipping. Idk.

Points For: I think they'd get along pretty well, to be honest.

Points Against: Unsure if they'll ever meet. That's always the case for nevermet shippings.

Involves: Ash, Drew, Camper Justin, May, Schoolgirl trainer class

Reaction: What the actual fudge. In case you're wondering, Camper Justin is one of the trainers you battle in the games. He was in the third gen games. Amazingly enough, there's also a Camper Drew, but we'll not focus on him. Since it wasn't specified which Drew, we'll assume Drew from the Pokémon anime. Pretty much combination of Advance and Belieber. Belieber will be discussed later. But why is Drew involved? Because Justin Bieber's full name is Justin Drew Bieber. BTW, I'm not a Bieber fan.

Points For: I don't even know. I know thing focused here is Advanceshipping, but we'll assume that this also involves Contestshipping.

Points Against: Too many people involved. Schoolgirl is a fangirl.

Involves: May and Pikachu

Reaction: Maybe they didn't like to ship May with a human...or maybe they just prefer May. I don't know.

Points For: They're friends. Pikachu seems to really like May, and May seems to like Pikachu from the start in spite of it ruining her bicycle.

Points Against: Pokémon and Human. It will be difficult. Also, Pikachu hasn't really seen May in a very long time. She might have moved on to another Pikachu...or some other person that I won't specify because I'm trying to be unbiased.

Involves: Reggie and Johanna

Reaction: Paul's brother and Dawn's mom. Really? I guess if they get married Paul becomes Dawn's step-uncle. Sorry, Ikarishipping.

Points For: They're both capable of taking care of kids and also Pokémon. They seem to have raised their Pokémon well. We don't know who Dawn's father is either.

Points Against: Age gap. Also, if Ikarishipping happens, they're unlikely to end up together. Idk really. And hey, maybe this ship is a mother-brother kind of...I don't even know anymore.

Involves: Red and Pikachu

Reaction: It's okay. Red does have his own Pikachu, and they are buddies. We just don't know if they're Ash Ketchum level.

Points For: Partners for a long time. Plus, since Red would be training in Mt. Silver anyway, there's a chance he won't have much human interaction.

Points Against: Does Red consider Pikachu as a best friend, or a mere partner for battle?

Update(June 3, 2016): I'm an idiot and I completely forgot to edit this. I'm so sorry. I'm still leaving the point against for the whole world to see my ignorance about things. I know they are best friends. I read the manga already. Just because Pika wasn't Red's first doesn't mean that they can't best friends. Pika was the one who told Prof Oak that something happened to Red.
