Chapter 3
Brooklyn
Gurl You Did Not Just Say That!!!
For the past few days I have been trying to avoid Cole, but damn that kid is everywhere. When we would be in class together and he try and talk to me I would quickly run over to Alexis. After what he said I got kind of shock. Like come on, have you ever had a really hot guy say he would so anything to make you love him.
No, I didn't either until now. Come on, I was waiting for a freaking miracle to happen let alone this happen. I use to sit at home and listen to crappy sad songs because I would wait for some guy to come up to me and say, "Hey want to go out on a date or something." God, why is my life so crazy.
I slam my fist into the wall and slowly brought it back out. "God Brooklyn who knew how much angry you got in that body of yours." I ingored her comment and went to go find the first aid kit. I found it and wrapped up my now bloody knuckles.
"Come on Alexis we don't want to be late." I grabbed my bag and walked out of the room. When you go to American Dance you have to know two things. Of course how to dance and you have to know how to sing like an angel. If you can do only one thing then your not in this school.
Thank god that I know how to sing and dance so everything worked out for me. My brother and I learned to sing when we were six and started dancing when we were three. Yeah I know, how can a three year old dance, well I was pretty advanced for my age. Unlike my brother. He took a little longer then I did.
I stepped into the classroom and quickly grab a sit next to my brother. "What happened to your hand Brooklyn."
"I punched a wall."
"WHAT???!?!!?!?!"
"Joe keep your voice down," I said looking around the room to see if Cole came yet.
"Why did you punch a wall?"
"I got angry, ok nothing more." After I said that, my teacher, Miss.Phoneny, walked in.
"Ok class so we are going to start out with some song choses of our own. Who would like to start?" I raise my hand and she claps. "Oh goody, Brooklyn come on up," I walk up and she looks at me,"what will you be singing for us?"
"Wait and see." My brother shakes his head knowing the exact song I am going to sing. I tell the band that is behind me the song and they all share a smile. Oh this is going to be good.
A/N: Play the song now>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I start singing the song and let ther music flow through me. I don't know why but when ever I sing or dance I always connect with the music. After a couple of minutes I finish the song.
I see he who shall not be named shake his head and walk out of the room. I didn't tell you this but he who shall not be named was my boyfriend at one point in my life. He cheated on me with my best friend and well I never trusted anybody execpt my brother since.
I don't know why but I trust Alexis because well I knew her since we were kids, but she moved away when we were two. I sorta forgot about her since we were so young. I didn't remember until one night we were going through some old photo ablums.
I stared at the door throwing a smirk at my brother. He smiled and shook his head. "Beautiful job Brooklyn. You may sit back down."
"Nice job Brooklyn," said Cole. I blushed and lowered my head walking back to my seat.
"Hey that was amazing Brooklyn," said Joe.
"Thanks Bro."
"Now who would like to go next," when she said that the bell rang. I quickly got out of my seat and walked out of the room. I saw him and he was heading my way. I ran down the hallway all the way to the studio where I have practice.
I ran through the door and turned around.
Oh my god.
This is not happening.
"Hey Brooklyn."
"Jay."
