Six Months Later

I was on the stage ready for the song to start. The curtain was closed. It was the end of the year and the whole school was performing for their families. I was the opening act. Because of my solo from the opening year dance, everyone who saw it was really excited to see this solo. I was wearing all black and my hair was in my natural curls so it stood out.

The song was playing and I was doing my dance. I did a spin and got it perfectly. I was very so addicted to this song and I begged Dom to let me dance to it. a lot has happened over the last six months. Dom and Miss. Phoneny are getting married. Joe and Alexis are together and are thinking of opening their own dance school in Maine. Leah and Nathanael are now on a dance show and left about a month ago, but we still are in touch. As for Derek, he left the school after our little talk, and we have no clue where he is.

Now for the big reveal. Cole and I are perfect. We are going back to American Dance again next year. I told Ed that I didn't want to leave my family and turned down the scholarship. I also put purple highlights in my hair. They are so cool. Cole is in love with them and was joking with me on how he was in love with them more than me.

As for Cole he has totally changed. He even called that girl he made move away and said sorry. I was very proud of him for that. We have a usually fights as a couple, but other than that we are great. He met my mom at Thanksgiving and I met his family on Christmas. There is some things that he has to work on, but he has become great.

I did my flip at the end of the song and landed in a spilt the song then ended and everyone was out of their seats applauding.I bowed and went off stage. Cole was waiting for me on the side with a huge grin on his face. 

"What are you all smiley about?"

"You are never going to believe this."

"What?"

"I bought American Dance," he said.

"What? Why? How?"

"Dom wanted to sell the school, because he wanted to spend more time with Miss.P and there baby."

"Wait, Miss. Phoneny is preggos?"

"Yup."

"Oh my god, that is great."

He snaked his arms around my waist and I put mine around his neck.

"So do you want to be a teacher and co-CEO of American Dance?"

I jumped out of his arms and looked at him shocked.

"Seriously?"

"Not kidding baby."

"Of course," I said hugging him.

He chuckled at me and we walked hand in hand towards the dressing rooms. I went towards the girl's and he went to the boy's. I pecked him on the cheek and ran in to the room looking for Alexis. I found her. Looking at a picture of us from the opening year dance with me in my solo costume. I walked up to her and tapped her shoulder. She turned around and hugged me.

"You did great Brooklyn."

"Thanks and guess what."

"What?"

"Cole bought American Dance and I am the new co-CEO and a teacher. How awesome is that?"

"That is great, but you are never going to believe this.''

"What am I not going to believe?"

She lifted up her left hand and showed me a gorgeous engagement ring.

"OMG!''

''I know right."

"Dude you were suppose to wait for me,'' we heard a voice say behind us. 

We turn around and see Cole and Joe standing there. 

"Sorry bro.''

"Well I guess I will do it alone," Cole says turning towards me.

He walks up to me and gets down on one knee and pulling out a ring. I look at him shocked.

"Brooklyn will you-"

"YES!!!"

"Wow that was easier than I thought,'' he said laughing and putting the ring on my ring finger.

When he gets up I grab his face and kiss him in a slow passionate kiss.

"Yup. I am happy."

"So am I babe. So am I."
