Chapter 8
Brooklyn
The Devil Got Me Falling In Love
When I was talking to Cole, it felt so natural. That I completely forgot about the plan. When he left, I started staring at his ass. Don't blame me! He has a nice ass. I let out a frustrated sigh and went towards the side of the stage.
The guys were doing there dance right now. It was to FallOutBoy. The dance was really cool. They were doing all of these moves that Domentic came up with. There are major scouts in the crowd so he wanted the dances to be perfect.
I looked at all of the boys, but my eyes kept going back to Cole. If he wasn't such a jackass and wasn't using me I would actually like him. Even if he was a bad boy. I watched Cole land his move perfectly. It takes a lot of effort to land those moves.
I found myself clapping with the rest of the audience. Cole looked at me for a second and smiled. I smiled back and he smirked. Cocky as ever. The boys were just finishing up with the dance and they came running off stage. Cole went quickly to change his shirt and pants. When the stage manager came to get us, Cole was running to where I was.
I shook my head and started following the stage manager. She took us to our entrance spots and left. Cole and I got ready to dance.
"You ready for this?"
"Cole I have been dancing for my whole life. I am so ready." He laughed at my comment and we listen for our cue. Domentic wanted us to go last because he wanted to impress the scouts. He then decided against it and put my solo last. I was scared out of my mind when he told me that.
>>>>>>>>>>>>PLAY SONG>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The song got started and I went to the center of the stage. I did a full spin in the middle of the stage, on one point shoe. There is a slide show playing in the background of pictures of us and our family. I did a jump in the air and went into my routine.
Cole came out and we did the second part of our routine together. When I looked in the front row. I saw some people crying. Trust me I did too. And I never cry. I mean ever. Cole and I kept doing our routine and we did all the moves. Eight horrible minutes later, we were done. Everyone in the audience was out of their seat clapping.
Cole and I bowed and walked off stage. Everyone was there and gave us a hug and a good job. Cole and I said thank you and quickly went to the dressing rooms to change for our next dance. We were doing some sort of 20's dance. When the hair was 6ft tall and all that stuff.
I quickly did my hair and put my dress on. I put on the very dangerous high heels I was dancing in on and went up stairs. I saw Cole coming out of the dressing room the same time I was and smiled.
"Ready to swing,'' he said in an Elvis voice. I laughed and smiled.
"Let's get our swing on," I said grabbing his hand and running up the stairs.
"How do you run in those shoes?"
"Simple."
"How?"
"Magic."
"Stupid women," he mumbled under his breath. I chuckled and we went to where my brother and Alexis were standing. I went over to Alexis and Cole went over to my brother.
"Girl how do you look so good in five minutes? My hair took me twenty minutes to do!"
"I am just so amazing that I got it done so fast."
"So unfair," she said.
"I know sweetie."
"So I saw you holding hands with Cole," she said frowning.
"All an act,'' I reassured her.
"OK, if you say so."
"Alexis it is so came your ass down. And don't frown you will get wrinkles." She laughed and we walked to the spot we have to enter the stage. We got our cue and Alexis and I walked on to the stage. Pretending to talk to each other. The boys came on and whistled. Alexis and I smiled at them.
The boys came over and pretended to ask us to dance. Alexis giggled and I rolled my eyes. The audience laughed and the song began to play.
When the song ended we all were in our final poses. Alexis and Joe looking like to love sick birds, Cole smiling at me, and well I was pretending to gag. The whole dance turned out very well and I completely enjoyed it.
We walked off the stage and the curtain closed. We would have a fifteen minute break so we can set up for the final dance. My solo. We all walked to the dressing rooms. The boys came into ours and started talking to us. I did my hair in its natural curls. Dom came to the room and smiled.
"Guys you all did great now get out."
"Dom why do we have to leave,'' asked Nathanael.
"So you guys can watch the final dance from the audience now shoo."
They did as they were told and went to go find the assiatant manager so he can show them to their seats. I put on my outfit and my blood red point shoes. Dom came back in the room and help me put my head piece.
By the time I made it back to the stage, it was time for my solo. And trust me I was ready for it.
Bring.
It.
On.
