When I was finnished reading my schedueled fourty five pages, I went down to the basement (by far the safest place for me in the whole house) to play pool with my brothers. I always go first then Colt, then Hunter. I hit each ball in order from red to dark purple with such presision i swear my skills are unmatched. I win every time.
This is what my life consists of. My life isn't anything out of the ordinary. Sometimes it's too ordinary for my liking. Well, other than being hunted down.
I never have any fun. Nothing exciting happens. I never get to see my neighbours, or anyone for that matter. It's like I'm trapped inside a bubble that I can't get out of. I am totally secluded from the rest of the world.
"Faith! It's your move!', Hunter sreamed, snaping me out of my trance.
"Sorry", I replied with caution, trying not to piss him off anymore than he already was. I moved up to the table, pool stick in hand (left obvioulsy), lined up my shot. . .BANG!!! The sound of gunfire scared me so much I almost peed myself! Plus it totally messed up my shot and the 6th ball went flying out the window!
"What was THAT!", I screamed, practically in Colt's face. I was totally freaking out!
"They're here! They found me! Oh God! What am I going to do!",
"Chill out Faith. It's probably that old geezer down the road shootin' at his T.V again", Colt replied with his urban street talk that he knows full well, drives me crazy.
"As much as I hate to admit it, Colt, your probably right.", I said in a sly tone, trying not to sound too impressed that he could actually be logical for once.
Decpite my window shot, I won the pool game, again. So I went back up to my room and painted for a while. Another one of my many talents, my talents that no one other than my family will get to see. Well, after my hour of painting, I decided to (since it was close to sundown) attempt to look out my 1ftx1ft window. I know, I'm such a bad-ass.
All I saw was the houses that were scattered around my house. Then I saw a curtain move in the window of my next door neighbours house. Probably just someone walking by I thought to myself. But I knew for a fact that the Storm's always went out on friday nights. It's nothing. Don't worry about it. But I continued to watch, closely, for hours it seemed. Then I saw someone's face slowly become more visible through the window's tinted glass.
