I woke to a soft touch on my cheek. Jesse was lying next to, propped up on one elbow, staring into my eyes. He studied my face like I was some mystery he was trying to solve. I was looking at him with the same intensity. i wanted him to know that I loved him more than anything i the world, but I had to gain his full trust before I could tell him that. The way he held me made me so tempted to kiss him right then and there. Instead I did something a little more sublte.

"Good morning." I said, still a little graugy.

"Good morning. Did you sleep well?" Jesse asked.

"Very well." I replied.

When we both decided it was time to go, we got up, left the cave and walked along the shore for a bit. We talked some more about our lives and about when we should meet again.

"So, what your flaw?" I asked Jesse.

"What do you mean?" He sounded a little confused, but I had a feeling he new what I was talking about.

"Well, everyone has a flaw. So what's yours? Because from what I'm looking at now, you have none." I explained, trying to be a little romantic. Jesse hesitated.

"Umm. . . I don't know," he hesiated again "I guess. . .um, I, umm. . ." He obviously had something he wanted to hide from me.

"Come on Jesse, you can tell me anything. I promise I won't judge you, or tell anyone. You can trust me." I said with the most promise in my voice I would have believed it even if I was lying.

"Well, it's just that if I tell you, I might get hurt, so can you." I knew now what he was hiding, and what he knew about me.

"Your a Flunkie."

"Yes."
