"Faith! Calm down Faith. It was just a dream." My parents sat on each end of my bed, trying their best to calm be down. But I couldn't stop crying. I wanted to, but I couldn't. What if something like this really happened!? What if the Hidden did find us? What if Jesse dies?! I couldn't live with myself! I would never love again.

All of these thoughts and more were spinning around the room. I wanted answers. But I couldn't risk exposing Jesse. What if my parents didn't like him? They might turn him in. I don't have to tell them he has A.D.H.D, but then they would want me to stay away. They would think Jesse wanted to turn me in.

"Everythings going to be alright.", I heard my mother say, trying her best to comfort me. But I knew nothing would ever be alright again.

"What's going on? I'm trying to sleep here!" Colt asked with a tone that implied that his beauty sleep was more important than my well being. I tried to ignore it, but my mother didn't do such a good job.

"Colt, if you nothing useful to say then get the hell out!"

"It's okay mom", I said trying to turn her swearing down to mild. Hearing her swear was the last thing I needed right now.

"No, it's not. Your bawling your eyes out and your idiot brother has to come in here and start questioning everything. It's absolutely unacceptable.", My mother said just as Colt was leaving. I new for a fact that she would never say that unless he was gone.

"Really mom, don't get yourself worked up about it, I'm used to it."

"Well you shouldn't be used to it! You're couped up in this house 24/7 and your brothers can go out with their friends and go to school and they certainly don't have to crawl around the floor when they want to move around the house! The least they could do is show you a little respect. I mean it's one thing to tease you every once and a while, but when your crying so hard you can barely speak, I mean, that's no time to be kidding around. Their just like your father, never know when to stop joking around."

After about an hour long rant, my mother went to bed. But I stayed awake. I didn't want that dream to take over again. It was much too real. i just wanted to sit back and think everything through. It was about 2:30 AM when I dosed off. I had another dream.

I was walking along the beach with Jesse. We were having the best time. It looked like we were celebrating something. I couldn't quite see what, but we continued to walk along the shore. I heard Jesse say something to me that I couldn't hear from where I was standing, so I walked closer. I was about 50 yards away when I heard Jesse say "We're almost there", In a very excited tone. I could see now that my eyes were covered with a small cloth. I guess wherever we were going was a suprise.

We continued to walk, when I saw a small beach-shack in the distance. I saw Jesse's pace pick up as we neared the shack. Then I saw a banner hung across the top of the roof. But, from my distance, couldn't quite read read it. I saw Jesse remove the cloth from my eyes revealing what the banner said. I mover closer and saw that the banner said "We are FREE!!" Were Flunkies free? Had they been freed and I didn't hear about it? That didn't matter right now. What matters is what happens next.

I started jumping up and down. I was extatic! Thren I jumped on Jesse, knocking him to the ground. His body under  mine, his chest pressed against mine, his hand stroking my face, pulling my hair away slowly. I was under a spell. I felt as if nothing could pull me away from him. I looked into his deep blue eyes and saw my reflection, I leaned in to kiss him. When I pulled away I saw someone else's reflection in Jesse's eyes. Then I felt a sharp pain in my leg. I rolled onto my side, looked over at Jesse and saw he wasn't moving.

I saw something running towards me, then he stopped. He held up a gun. I was suddenly incased in darkness. I saw a small white light glowing in the distance. I moved closer. I reached out to touch it. Then I woke up.

"What the hell was that?" I asked myself. I wanted some answers, now.
