How did it happen?
I often ask myself that question
Wondering why
Pondering the scenes that lead to this moment

What did I like about you?
A scowl is prominent on your face
It's the total opposite of the smile on my lips
If you are willing, I'll give my best to make you laugh
.
When did my feelings change?
In fact, I don't know you that well
We barely see each other
Yet even from a far, I will always recognize you
.
They say it won't happen
I'm just wasting my time and effort
We're on the same team
Except we haven't been in the same occasion
.
Will it always be like this?
Just staring at you in the distance?
Waiting for the time to talk to you?
Praying that you'll see me too?
.
A miracle happened
The possible defeated the impossible
Finally, I took the courage to take the next step
To my surprise, you did too
.
However, before it started, it already ended
I'm already removing you from my mind
Erasing you from my heart
And trying to forget everything about you
.
No matter what, I still want to thank you
For noticing me and for accepting me
More importantly, for knowing that I exist
So with the last verse of this poem, I am letting you go
.
