I'm sorry to tell you
That we're only up to here

As a farewell

I am confused with a lot of things
One, my feelings for you
My heart's in a cage and it's being rebellious
It hurts

Two, your feelings for me
What are we, really?
You stopped being honest
It hurts

It's hard not to ask about your day
Especially when I want to know everything
Before, you used to be my companion
Now, we're more than strangers

We just began, I know
But it's true
Everything has to stop at some point
And I'm sad to say
