ASHTON POV

"I don't know why you like her dude, she's a total bitch." Calum complained. I was starting to get tired of him and Luke always bashing on her. Not only was it mean, it was getting old how they always said the same thing. Either she was a bitch or a slut. And I knew she was neither of those.

"Whatever. She happens to be nice and not a slut so I don't know what you're talking about." I retorted.

"Yeah nice to you. She's bitchy to us."

"Well maybe she wouldn't be bitchy to you if you didn't call her a slut all the time." I was getting pissed. Calum liked to bicker and fight and that's probably another reason he picked on her. He loved the attention he gained from it.

"I'm just telling the truth. She is a slut."

"Oh really? How many people has she slept with that you know of?" I challenged. I'm sure he would only say me. But if he did I'd feel kinda bad. Like I took advantage of her.

"We-well, you and some other people." He stammered. I knew he knew it was only me.

"Yeah sure, I'll be back in a few." I didn't want to continue the conversation any further.

"Hey, don't forget we're having that party or movie night thingy tomorrow. Bring whoever you want."

"You know who I'm gonna bring."

He rolled his eyes.

Michael was complaining earlier about how dropping out was kinda stupid, he missed Lucy. So I figured I'd do both him and I a favor.

LUCY POV

I walked into my English class Tuesday morning feeling a little sad. I hadn't see Michael all morning and I was just talking to him last night. He wasn't sick.

But I also saw Josie and she wasn't all over Calum. And Luke was gone too.

He wasn't there.

I was a bit confused, but shrugged it off. No Calum and Luke, no problem.

In the middle of the period, I was called up to the office. I was predicting some kind of schedule change, but no that's not what happened at all.

The minute I walked in I was met face to face with Ashton, giving me a smirk.

"Your, uh... Cousin was it? He says that your mother scheduled a doctor's appointment and he is to take you?" One of the secretaries said. They weren't as sure as to what was going on as I was.

I gave Ashton a questioning look, but agreed.

"I'm not taking you to the doctor you know that right?" He said once we stepped out of the building.

"Oh, thank Jesus I was worried for a minute there." He laughed at my comment and opened the car door for me.

"Why thank you, kind sir. "

"Anything for you, m'lady."

"We're weird."

"I know." I noticed he had Fall Out Boy playing, Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner. I began to hum along. One of my favorites. Humming led to absently minded singing.

"Keep quiet nothing comes as easy as you. Can I lay in your bed all day? I'll be your best kept secret and your biggest mistake..."

"You lied." He said, looking at me with his bottom lip jutted out.

"About what?" I was confused. I never lied to him about anything.

"I don't feel like dunking my head in sulfuric acid after hearing you sing. You have a beautiful voice."
