"Calum can you just calm the fuck down for two minutes? Let me finish. I'll go on tour with yo-" He cut me off and I was a bit upset at him. We'd been arguing every time we spoke to each other for the past two weeks. He was leaving tomorrow and we still haven't made much of a compromise.

"You will? Or is it just so you'll shut me up?  Cause that's what it seems like. " He pulled out his suitcase from under his bed and started to throw clothes in it in an aggressive manner.

"Maybe if you let me fucking finish speaking, it wouldn't seem that way and maybe we'd make some kind of progress." I stood up from his desk chair and unintentionally pushed it hard into the wall behind me. I stormed out of his room and into the kitchen for some water.

I heard footsteps behind me as I shut the fridge, water bottle in hand. I rolled my eyes and turned, thinking it was Calum. I was surprised with the sight as it was his mum instead.

"You guys alright, sweetheart?" She asked, rubbing my back as I took a swallow of water.

I nodded and set the bottle of water on the counter.

"I think we're both just stressed. He's leaving tomorrow and if I do go back, I think he's worried I'll forget about him." I stated, which wouldn't be the case. I couldn't ever forget about him. Ever since the night we hooked up back in Denver, he was all I could think about. His mum agreed with me and sauntered off to bed and I went back to Cal's room to sort things out.

I made two soft knocks on the door before walking in, finding Calum sitting on the edge of his bed, head in his hands and elbows resting on his knees.

"Cal, baby, can we talk please? And actually talk?" I asked, sitting beside him and rubbing his shoulder. He rose from his position and leaned his head into my shoulder, my hand beginning to brush through his hair.

"I was thinking, that for the first few months of the tour, I'd be with you and the guys, doing online college. And then when we got to Denver, I stayed and finished out the semester. How about that?" I thought of this while in the kitchen, a perfect plan to satisfy both of us.

"But I don't want you to leave me." He whined, hugging my waist and pulling us back to lay on the bed.

"I'll only be for a few months, I promise."

"I know, but I guess it'll work. We both get what we want."

"Yeah, I just wish we didn't argue so much. We're both stubborn as hell, and get angered easily. And everyone says opposites attract." I giggled at the thought. "Well I guess that means we have to go to mine and pack now." I sighed and sat up on the bed and pulled on my shoes as Calum stayed in his current position.

"Come oonnn." I groaned, pulling on his hands to get him up, ultimately falling ontop of him. His arms went around my waist, resting on my lower back.

"But I don't wanna. We can pack in the morning." He flipped us over, his legs on either side of mine. I leaned up and gave him a small kiss.

"Whatever, but we're getting up super early if we're doing that." I said, kicking my shoes off to the ground and slipping under the covers. Calum followed shortly behind, throwing shirt and jeans on the floor, as I. He laid his head on my shoulder, wrapping his arms around me waist as we drifted off to sleep.

*********************************

We left Calum's house the next morning early, knowing traffic would be terrible on a Wednesday morning and it would take well over an hour to get to my mum's house in the city. The flight left at two in the afternoon, so no matter what time we got there, we'd still have a good chunk of time to work with.

We didn't mind the long drive though, we enjoyed ourselves by singing along to the albums stored about his car and pointing out cool buildings and telling stories about them as well.

"I remember when I was about 7 and my mum took Mali and I to the aquarium and I threw up in the dolphin tank after we ate some bad fish and chips."

"Oh, hey! Do you remember that one time we went on the class trip and there was the girl with the frizzy red hair? And then when the teacher asked us what we'd do if we got to own all the fish she started going on about how she'd mutilate them? I had nightmares about her."

"Yes, oh my gosh, same. I remember in year four when she brought cookies for her birthday and five of the meanest kids got food poisoning."

"Yeah, she was weird but she did us all justice. "

We pulled up to my mum's drive just then, walking inside and greeting her before going up to my room and beginning to pack.

I pulled all the clothes out of my wardrobe as I directed Calum to pull out the suitcases from under my bed.

"Why do you need so many clothes, goddamn." He said as I dropped the armful off on the bed.

"Because unlike you guys I don't like to share clothes and I like to wear clean clothes."

"But you can share clothes with Luke and I. Luke wears women's jeans and you can have my shirts." He wrapped his arms around my waist as I sorted through the shirts and jeans.

"Yes but Luke is also eighty feet tall and your shirts would go down to my knees." I said, beginning to fold the items and pack them into the suitcases.

"That would be super adorable though."

"Too bad it's not happening." I smiled at him and slid the first suitcase across the floor. "I don't know how I'm going to handle myself with you four weirdos in a tour bus for ten months."

"You don't have to hang around them, you can just cuddle with me in my bunk while we're on the road."

"Okay, but I can't just neglect the other boys."

"Whatever, loser."
