Chapter 8 : Land of Gems

The portal shrinks before Samuru can even reach for it,purple mysterious particles surrounding him before dissipating. Once the portal dissipates completely,the time become normal again. Everyone move as if nothing happens..

He let out a loud click,his knuckles white before turned back to others.

."...We are too late. Those three are already gone" he said with a sigh,arms wrapped on his chest.

"Sh-Sha!! What the hell is happening in this world-!?" Simon clenched his head. "First the mutants,time stops and now this!?"

"We need to tell Kuro and others. They may know what exactly is going on." Yuki said, adjusting his glasses which nearly fell from the run. He looks at the surroundings for anything suspicious as his eyes catch a shining thing on the sidewalk.

He slowly approach it,eyebrows furrowed. "Guys,come here for a sec."

Everyone hurried towards him and looks down. It's a piece of blue weird looking circle components,with a weird symbol craving on its middle. It's let out a soft white dim light.

Yuki takes a twig near him and it softly and it doesn't react.He slowly crouches down to examine it more clearly.

"What a weird pattern.." Yuki muttered. His glasses glitter, reflecting the shining stone. "What's that shining thing!?" Simon pushed through,making Yuki lose his stability.

"Er-Sorry,Yuki!" The purple haired boy scrambles as he helps Yuki stand up on his toes.Before he can do it,the light became brighter as Yuki's fingers accidentally touched it.

Yuki's eyes widened,"...The stone..its.."

Samuru also crouches down and puts his fingers on the stone as well. The stone shines way brighter. It as if the stone react to their presence..

"Samuru,I can feel a wave from this stone now. Perhaps it's reacting to us", Dravise say after he analysed it. "But the reason, perhaps we need to go back to show it to those people.",he continues.

"Then,let's go back for now and show this to them." he said,the weird looking crest in his right hand.

"...Uh...."

Riki opens his eyes,greeted by blue sky. He could feel the grass blades brushing his body as winds slowly flowing.His eyes widened and quickly stand up, eyes shining as he looks around his surroundings.

The dominant vegetation that existed in that mysterious place is only grass,covering the whole mysterious island. From far,an endless sea can be seen,bright blue and untouched by usual human activities. Fresh scent of grass and breezy wind greets him,increasing the feelings of mysteries he has now.

"Wha...what is this pl- Mystery!! I have never seen anything like this before! Where's the actual tree!? Where's mountains?! It's like a painti-"

"Riki,focus. We need to know our whereabouts right now." Dracyan cut off his words.

Riki let out a chuckle,scratching his cheek. Then take out Dracyan from his pocket.
"Er...yeah,sorry,Dracyan-Wait,are you alright,Dracyan? You were unconscious before!" he asks.

Dracyan let out a soft hum. "I'm alright. Somehow,I lost my ability to interact with you,but I am still conscious.. as if..."
