And that's when the hate came.

Ew! It's that freak again!
Get away from Harry! He's mine!
Yuck! Someone needs to chill out on all that food.

"Don't let them get to your head." Zayn whispers into my ear. I try to look for a nice comment about me but this is the best I found...

I guess she's ok, but I'm better anyways so who cares!?

Ouch. "Niall..." I whisper. He turns to look at me but is only met with my teary eyes. I lean my head on his shoulder.

What the heck is she doing over there with my Niall!?

"If you guys could stop hurting her feelings, that'd be great." Harry complains. I don't really want to be here anymore. I slowly stand up, and walk away. I think I should go to the recording studio again.

I pop inside and check to see if they're following me. The coast is clear. But... That's weird. They would normally follow me. But for once, I'm happy they're gone.

"Ellie?" I hear Zayn call out about 30 minutes later. Then the door slides open. "Yeah?" I whisper. He whips his head around and looks at me. "What's wrong?" He walks over and wraps his arms around me. "Why do they hate me, Zayn?" I whimper. "I can't say that I know that, love." He sighs. "Tomorrow we have to go do some tour stuff so we can't be here. Is that ok?" He softly asks. It's honestly like he's treating me as if I were a little girl. But it's not a surprise, really. I did just run away because of what people were saying. "Yeah." I quietly answer.

I wake up with a smile on my face. The house is quiet, so the boys are obviously gone. I throw on some spandex shorts and a sports bra with a thin short sleeve shirt to cover it.

I flop down onto the couch and my phone goes off.

Hey! I need someone to watch Patch while I'm gone. Think you can help me out? -Kenzie

Sure! I'll come over whenever to pick up the balloon baby himself! Sound good? -Ellie

Sure thing! Pick him up in a half hour maybe? -Kenzie

K. See you then. -Ellie

"Who's Kenzie?" Harry's voice scares me. "And what's a balloon baby?" He smirks. "What are you still doing here?" I move over so he can sit next to me. "Um... Cough cough...?" He says in more of a question.

Half an hour later, I hop into the car with Harry, who somehow got me to let him come. Even though Kenzie is a Directioner. "She's gonna know it's you." I try one last time to get him to stay. "Yeah whatever." He mumbles.

"Oh my gosh! I haven't seen you in a long time!" Kenzie screams once my car pulls into her driveway. We actually moved to England together, just so you know. She suddenly gasps. Oh god... I brace myself. "Did you finally get a boyfriend?" She jokes. "No actually. This is my roommate..." I try to think of a name. "Harold." Harry says in an American accent. "Nice save." I whisper as Kenzie walks away with us following her. He pulls his beanie tighter and pushes his sunglasses up to hide himself.

"So that's a balloon baby." Harry mumbles. "Ok. So we have food, don't forget to water him and here's his cat box and litter with the bags." Kenzie instructs. "Got it." I nod. Harry takes the things from her hands and puts them into the car. "Let's get coffee when I get back ok?" Kenzie smiles. "Hate coffee!" I remind her. "Bye!" Harry yells, hurrying me along.

"That's one huge cat!" Harry closes the door and yells in his normal voice. "Wanna prank the boys?" I smirk.
